  • Patent number: 11916368
Abstract: The invention relates to remote activation of a communication module of a self-powered intelligent electronic device (IED). The IED controls an auto recloser mounted on an electric pole of a power distribution network. A controller of the IED, receives an activation signal from a trigger source, positioned within a predefined distance from the IED, through an optical sensor to activate the communication module. A control signal is generated, upon the controller of the IED detecting the activation signal, for powering the communication module from a power supply module. The power supply module is enabled to power the communication module for a duration controlled with the control signal. The communication module is activated for communicating a plurality of data associated with the IED to a remote communication device upon enabling the power supply module for the communication module.

  • Patent number: 11543474
Abstract: A method is provided for sensing a magnetic field in a magnetic gradiometer of the kind in which pump light and light constituting an optical carrier traverse first and second atomic vapor cells that contain host atoms and that are separated from each other by a known distance. According to such method, the host atoms are prepared in a coherent superposition of two quantum states that differ in energy by an amount that is sensitive to an ambient magnetic field. Modulation of the optical carrier in the respective cells gives rise to sidebands that interfere to generate a beat frequency indicative of the magnetic field gradient. The host atoms are prepared at least in a mode that allows measurement of ambient magnetic field components perpendicular to the axis of the pump light. In such mode, the host atoms are spin-polarized by pump light while subjected to a controlled magnetic field directed parallel to the pump beam, and then the controlled magnetic field is adiabatically extinguished.

  • Publication number: 20220335439
Abstract: Provided techniques manage and predict future events. For example, in a payment implementation, a supplier, at any given point in time, has multiple customer debtors that may owe payments (e.g., have outstanding invoices). Utilizing historical attributes for a given customer debtor payment predictions may be determined. By analyzing outstanding debts associated with this debtor customer an amount owed may be calculated and a predicted payment (e.g., a payment that has not yet been indicated by that debtor customer) created. Events may be provided to a second system to correlate predictions across multiple debtor collectors. Correlated information may be used to predict cash flow needs of an organization. Alternatively, optimization of help desk systems may be provided based on predictions from analysis of multiple events in an Event-driven feed back system. Provided techniques may be generalized to other applications as well.

  • Publication number: 20220265575
Abstract: The invention describes a non-staining composition comprising high content of curcuminoids in granular form, which is substantially free of excipients and is comprised of at least about 94% of curcuminoids. The non-staining composition may be comprised of 0 to 5% by weight of excipients, which are used as processing aids. The non-staining curcuminoid composition does not cause staining and dusting of the equipment and the contact surfaces, while formulating into finished dosage forms. The invention also relates to solvent-free process for preparation of non-staining granular composition; wherein the curcuminoids may be subjected to granulation process at specific temperature conditions. The granular composition is free flowing and retains original yellowish orange colour of the curcuminoids along with its crystalline nature.
