  • Publication number: 20210158901
Abstract: In some implementations, a prediction system may receive a gene regulatory network associated with genes. The prediction system may determine interactions between the genes associated with the gene regulatory network. The prediction system may generate a hyperbolic embedded space based on the gene regulatory network and the interactions between the genes. The prediction system may determine a hyperbolic distance measure based on the hyperbolic embedded space. The prediction system may process the hyperbolic embedded space and the hyperbolic distance measure, with a neural network model, to generate predictions of interactions between the genes. The prediction system may perform one or more actions based on the predictions of interactions between the genes.

  • Publication number: 20210110594
Abstract: Synthetic CT is estimated for planning or other purposes from surface data (e.g., depth camera information). The estimation uses parameterization, such as landmark and/or segmentation information, in addition to the surface data. In training and/or application, the parameterization may be used to correct the predicted CT volume. The CT volume may be predicted as a sub-part of the patient, such as estimating the CT volume for scanning one system, organ, or type of tissue separately from other system, organ, or type of tissue.

  • Patent number: 10973460
Abstract: In aspects of a wearable article for determining a task, a system includes a delivery device usable to administer a liquid responsive to an applied force, and includes a wearable article with multiple sensors to detect movements of the wearable article and handling of the delivery device. A task determination module is implemented to receive sensor data identifying the movements of the wearable article and the applied force, and can determine a task from a set of tasks associated with the delivery device that corresponds to the movements of the wearable article. The task determination module can then determine whether the task was performed correctly based on a comparison of the sensor data to a correct pattern of use for the task.

  • Patent number: 10979613
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for automatically positioning a content capturing device are disclosed. A vehicle, e.g., an UAV, carries the content capturing device, e.g., a camcorder. The UAV can position the content capturing device at a best location for viewing a subject based on one or more audio or visual cues. The UAV can follow movement of the subject to achieve best audio or visual effect. In some implementations, a controller device carried by the subject can generate one or more signals for the UAV to follow. The controller device may be coupled to a microphone that records audio. The signals can be used to temporally synchronize video captured at the UAV and audio captured by the microphone.

  • Publication number: 20210064115
Abstract: A computing device includes a control system that communicates with multiple sensors that capture data regarding a user. The control system communicates with each of the sensors to obtain information regarding the capabilities of each sensor, and uses this capability information to determine how to configure each of the sensors. The control system also selects one of the multiple sensors to be the master sensor, and the rest of the multiple sensors are slave sensors, and notifies the multiple sensors of whether they are a slave sensor or a master sensor. The master sensor collects sensor data for the multiple sensors, capturing data itself as well as receiving data captured by the slave sensors from the slave sensors. The master sensor sends an indication of the collected data (e.g., the collected data itself or data resulting from processing the collected data) to the control system for analysis and/or processing.

  • Publication number: 20210056106
Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program product for query optimization in a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), wherein an optimizer accesses a query expression repository (QER), so that the optimizer learns from previous versions of the queries to improve current and subsequent versions of the queries. The QER stores planning and execution information for QEs from the previous versions of the queries, wherein the QEs comprise table relations, intermediate results and/or final results of operations in the previous versions of the queries. The optimizer searches the QER for QEs from the query execution plans, and uses information from the QEs stored in the QER when optimizing the current and subsequent versions of the queries. The optimizer may also reuses results from the QEs stored in the QER.

  • Patent number: 10922216
Abstract: Techniques are included for intelligently testing a software product using a limited number of test cases that are configured to test portions of the software product that have changed since a prior testing. To determine which test cases are best used for testing the implemented changes, a test case-to-programmatic flow mapping may be generated that relates each test case available for testing the software product with each programmatic flow that is tested by the test case. In addition, a programmatic flow-to-artifact mapping may be created that relates each programmatic flow discovered in the software product to each artifact that is accessed, created, changed, or dependent on the programmatic flow. Using these mappings, specific test cases may be determined for testing only those portions of the software product that have changed since the prior testing.
