  • Publication number: 20230139290
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to method and system to monitor and control continuous ultrafiltration (UF) process units. In real time, continuous operation of UF to handle variating concentration in feed stream is tedious and complex. The UF plant system receives a plurality of input data configured to UF process units and from the real time data outliers are removed and missing values are imputed. The prediction module predicts a volumetric concentration factor (VCF) value and a throughput value by selecting a model from a model repository. The optimization module optimizes the VCF value, and the throughput value based on a plurality of optimal variables recommended for a given feed concentration. The UF plant system controls the VCF value and the throughput value for a predefined period of a prediction horizon based on a plurality of trajectory profiles recommended for the feed flow rate, the pressure data, and a feed concentration.

  • Patent number: 11640399
Abstract: In some examples, a database system identifies a plurality of query portions in a database query that contain references to a first external table, the first external table being based on data from a remote data store coupled to the database system over a network. The database system creates a common spool portion that includes projections and selections of the plurality of query portions, and rewrites the plurality of query portions into rewritten query portions that refer to a spool containing an output of the common spool portion. For execution of the database query, the database system determines, as part of optimizer planning, whether to use the plurality of query portions or the common spool portion and the rewritten query portions.

  • Publication number: 20230114934
Abstract: Methods and systems for image registration using an intelligent artificial agent are disclosed. In an intelligent artificial agent based registration method, a current state observation of an artificial agent is determined based on the medical images to be registered and current transformation parameters. Action-values are calculated for a plurality of actions available to the artificial agent based on the current state observation using a machine learning based model, such as a trained deep neural network (DNN). The actions correspond to predetermined adjustments of the transformation parameters. An action having a highest action-value is selected from the plurality of actions and the transformation parameters are adjusted by the predetermined adjustment corresponding to the selected action. The determining, calculating, and selecting steps are repeated for a plurality of iterations, and the medical images are registered using final transformation parameters resulting from the plurality of iterations.

  • Publication number: 20230078138
Abstract: Computing systems employing measurement of boot components, such as prior to activation of a trusted platform module (TPM), for enhanced boot security, and related methods and computer-readable media. In exemplary aspects, to extend the measured boot process performed by a trusted platform module (TPM) circuit to earlier, primitive boot components that are processed before the TPM circuit becomes available to perform boot measurements, a secure boot processing system is configured to measure earlier, primitive boot components. The measured primitive boot components are used to update a virtual configuration register (CR) value in a final virtual CR. The TPM circuit uses the final virtual CR value as an initial starting CR value to measure subsequent boot components to provide end-to-end security for boot operations. In this manner, the final virtual CR value protects boot integrity of boot operations of its CPU even if they occur before availability of the TPM circuit.

  • Publication number: 20230075219
Abstract: An approach is provided for authorizing a card transaction. Data about spending by a user is received by a computer system, which is a server computer of a trade organization established by a card provider organization to include multiple merchants. The computer system is configured to authorize or decline card transactions. A predictive pattern of spending by the user is determined. A card transaction is detected. The card transaction is initiated by the user using a card to make a purchase from a merchant included in the trade organization. Card transaction information about the card transaction is obtained via an intranet. It is determined that the card transaction information matches the predictive pattern of spending. The card transaction is authorized without sending the card transaction information via the internet, or to a server or computer network of the card provider organization.

  • Publication number: 20230075113
Abstract: A system, method and computer-readable storage devices for providing unsupervised normalization of noisy text using distributed representation of words. The system receives, from a social media forum, a word having a non-canonical spelling in a first language. The system determines a context of the word in the social media forum, identifies the word in a vector space model, and selects an “n-best” vector paths in the vector space model, where the n-best vector paths are neighbors to the vector space path based on the context and the non-canonical spelling. The system can then select, based on a similarity cost, a best path from the n-best vector paths and identify a word associated with the best path as the canonical version.
