  • Publication number: 20210004979
Abstract: A handheld user device includes a monocular camera to capture a feed of images of a local scene and a processor to select, from the feed, a keyframe and perform, for a first image from the feed, stereo matching using the first image, the keyframe, and a relative pose based on a pose associated with the first image and a pose associated with the keyframe to generate a sparse disparity map representing disparities between the first image and the keyframe. The processor further is to determine a dense depth map from the disparity map using a bilateral solver algorithm, and process a viewfinder image generated from a second image of the feed with occlusion rendering based on the depth map to incorporate one or more virtual objects into the viewfinder image to generate an AR viewfinder image. Further, the processor is to provide the AR viewfinder image for display.

  • Publication number: 20190336600
Abstract: Compositions and methods of their use to detect and treat anti-PD1 therapy resistance are provided herein. Compositions that immunospecifically bind and deplete dysfunctional T cells are provided. The dysfunctional T cells that are depleted include CD38+PD-1+ T cells, CD38+CD8+ T-cells, or both. The dysfunctional T cells can be depleted, for example, by administering an antibody or fusion protein that specifically binds to dysfunctional T cells and promotes their depletion. In one embodiment the antibody is a bispecific antibody that can be specific for CD38 and CD8, or it can be specific for CD38 and PD-1. Also disclosed is a method of detecting and treating anti-PD1 therapy resistance by measuring the amount of CD38+PD1+CD8 T cells in blood or tissue samples obtained from a subject prior to anti-PD1 therapy and administering an anti-CD38/CD8 or anti-CD38/PD-1 depleting/blocking antibody to the subject prior to anti-PD1 therapy.

  • Publication number: 20190051001
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure generally relate to connecting panoramic images. One or more computing devices may load and display a first panoramic image captured at a first location and receive a selection of an area on the first panoramic image, the area corresponding to where a connection to other panoramic images may be made. The one or more computing devices may identify and display one or more nearby panoramic images which were captured near the first location and receive a selection of one of the one or more nearby panoramic images. The one or more computing devices may display the selected panoramic image and the first panoramic image and align the selected panoramic image with the first panoramic image such that the selected panoramic image is oriented in the same direction as the first panoramic image. The one or more computing devices may connect the selected panoramic image with the first panoramic image.

  • Patent number: 9804887
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for scheduling and executing user-restricted processes within distributed computing systems. More specifically, certain embodiments of the present invention describe systems and methods by which runtime requests to execute user-restricted processes may be received, processed, and scheduled via a user application of an enterprise system or other distributed computing system. Requests may be received via transaction pages of user applications to schedule and execute user-restricted processes. The user application, a process scheduler, and/or other components within the distributed computing system may determine user contexts associated with the requests, and may determine whether or not the requested processes may be scheduled and executed. Such processes may include, for example, report generation processes, processes to initiate system functions, and/or processes to perform system maintenance within the distributed computing environment.

  • Patent number: 9600342
Abstract: Various techniques are described herein for creating data partition process schedules and executing such partition schedules using multiple parallel process instances. Data processing tasks initiated by or for applications may be executed by creating and executing partition schedules, in which a number of different process instances are created and each assigned a subset of data to process. Partition schedules may be used to determine a number of process instances to be created, and each process instance may be assigned a unique set of run-time data values corresponding to a unique set of parameters within the data set to be processed by the application. The process instances may operate independently and in parallel to retrieve and process separate partitions of the data required for the overall data processing task initiated by/for the application.

  • Patent number: 9476104
Abstract: A process for cold clarification of juice is described. A sugar cane or beet juice clarification process to clarify raw juice by means of deaeration of fresh raw juice, addition of milk or lime, anionic and/or cationic flocculants, particularly together with a carbonating process, addition of phosphoric acid and then passing the juice through activated carbon bed is described. The process eliminates the need to heat the juice at any stage thus making it more cost effective, energy saving and gives better yield in terms of quality and quantity both. The recycling of defecated, carbonated and phosphated filtered juice and carbonated and phosphated mud that reduces the consumption of lime, CO2 and phosphoric acid up to some extent is described.
