  • Patent number: 10681575
Abstract: Methods for monitoring quality metrics of a video session transmitted over a mobile video delivery network facility are disclosed. A method for monitoring quality of a video system that uses traffic transmitted over a mobile video delivery network facility may include tapping, by a video quality probe, into a mobile network traffic stream transmitted over the mobile video delivery network facility, filtering, by the video quality probe, the tapped mobile network traffic stream to identify an individual video session; and determining, by the video quality probe, a video quality parameter corresponding to the identified individual video session.

  • Patent number: 10674387
Abstract: Methods for monitoring quality metrics of a video session that uses traffic transmitted over a mobile video delivery network facility are disclosed. A method for monitoring quality of a video system that uses traffic transmitted over a mobile video delivery network facility may include monitoring the mobile video delivery network facility that handles at least a portion of the video traffic for the video session for information about the video traffic at a location of the mobile video delivery network facility and monitoring at least one user mobile device that plays the video delivered by the mobile video delivery network facility using a software development kit (SDK) that reports at least one media delivery quality metric.

  • Publication number: 20200149541
Abstract: Systems and methods to clamp an impeller on a shaft in a centrifugal compressor. The embodiments as disclosed herein may include clamping individual impeller independently to the shaft, which may reduce the tolerance stack-up effect of a plurality of impellers. The impeller can be clamped to the shaft by positioning, for example, a relatively stiff support (e.g. a shaft locknut) on a front side of the impeller. The impeller can also be clamped to the shaft by a relatively flexible support to compensate for e.g. thermal expansion/contraction of the impeller. The embodiments as disclosed herein are particularly suitable for a multi-stage impeller.

  • Patent number: 10519958
Abstract: Systems and methods to help provide lubricant to a bearing in a compressor are disclosed. The embodiments disclosed herein generally are directed to systems and methods to provide a lubricant flow to the bearing, where the lubricant flow relies on the rotation of a shaft of the compressor, so that the lubricant flow can be independent of a power supply.

  • Patent number: 10471859
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly for a vehicle having a cargo area bounded by a floor and at least one wall is provided along with a method of operation. The vehicle seat assembly comprises a seat back, a seat base, and a linkage assembly. The seat back of the vehicle seat assembly mounts to the wall and the linkage assembly mounts to the floor. The seat bottom is mounted to the linkage assembly and is moveable between stowed and deployed positions. When the seat bottom is in the deployed position, the seat bottom defines a deployed seat bottom plane. When the seat bottom is in the stowed position, the seat bottom is positioned below the deployed seat bottom plane. The seat bottom is separate from the seat back and is spaced apart from the seat back when the seat bottom is in the stowed position.

  • Patent number: 10330363
Abstract: A lubricant separator is disclosed. The lubricant separator can cause lubricant which is entrained with a heat transfer fluid (e.g., a lubricant—heat transfer fluid mixture) to coalesce and fall (e.g., via gravity) into a bottom portion of a lubricant tank assembly. The lubricant separator can also reduce a velocity of the lubricant—heat transfer fluid mixture as it enters the lubricant tank assembly. The velocity reduction can, for example, reduce an amount of splashing of the lubricant that occurs as the lubricant—heat transfer fluid mixture enters the lubricant tank assembly. The velocity reduction can also, for example, be relatively more conducive to lubricant droplets falling into the bottom portion of the lubricant tank assembly as the flow of the heat transfer fluid is provided to a heat transfer fluid return conduit of the lubricant tank assembly.

  • Patent number: 9845809
Abstract: A sealing joint for a compressor casing, such as a compressor casing for a centrifugal compressor of a chiller, is provided. The sealing joint may be configured to have a first cover and a second cover. A first mating surface of the first cover may have an inner annular portion surrounding an inner cavity of the sealing joint, and an outer annular portion. The inner annular portion may be positioned between the inner cavity of the compressor casing and the outer annular portion. A sealant may be applied to the sealing joint, and a depth of the sealant on the inner annular portion may be deeper than a depth of the sealant on the outer annular portion. The depth of the sealant on the inner annular portion may help the sealing joint tolerate more elongation range without a sealant failure than a regular casing.

  • Patent number: 9744559
Abstract: Methods and compositions are disclosed for quickly creating durable surface marks and/or decorations on substrates including metal, glass, ceramic, porcelain, natural and engineered stone, as well as plastics, polymer composites and other organic materials with color, high resolution and high contrast using inkjet technology and laser, NIR diode or UV LED energy. The improved methods and compositions are based on established and emerging sub-micron and nanoparticle technology. Most properties of nanoparticles are size dependent and do not become apparent until the particle size has been reduced to the nanometer scale. Examples of such properties include increased specific surface area, facilitating the absorption and/or scattering of visible light and laser, NIR diode or UV LED energy and the decreased melting point of such materials when their particle size is reduced to the nanometer scale.
