  • Publication number: 20200225264
Abstract: A spring probe contactor includes an angled spring probe configuration that causes the tips of the spring probes to “swipe” the contact pads/solder balls of an IC device under test as the contacts are made. The angulation of the spring probes permit penetration through foreign material layers on the pad/ball surfaces with less contact force.

  • Patent number: 10436432
Abstract: Aluminum high bay lighting fixtures a primary housing; at least one secondary housing partially surrounding a primary housing; a plurality of light emitting elements in thermal contact with the primary housing; a heat spreader plate in thermal contact with the light emitting elements and the primary and secondary housings. At least one of the primary and secondary housings include openings to help dissipate heat from the light source and/or allow at least some of the light from the light emitting elements to be outputted in a direction opposite the main light emitting direction. The shortest distance from a distal end of the primary housing to the light sources is greater than the shortest distance from a distal end of the secondary housing to the light sources.

  • Publication number: 20190297704
Abstract: Lighting devices and methods utilize multiple independently controllable groups of solid state light emitters of different dominant wavelengths, with operation of the emitter groups being automatically adjusted by processor(s) to provide desired illumination. Operation of the emitter groups may be further affected by sensors and/or user input commands (e.g., sound patterns, gesture patterns, or signal transmission). Operation may be adjusted to compensate for presence, absence, intensity, and/or color point of ambient or incident light. Presence of five or more groups of solid state light emitters provide desirable luminous flux, color point, correlated color temperature (CCT), color rendering index (CRI), CRI R9, and luminous efficacy characteristics of aggregate emissions over a wide range of CCT values, and may permit adjustment of vividness (e.g., relative gamut) and/or melatonin suppression characteristics for a selected color point or CCT.

  • Patent number: 10094853
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a test probe assembly for testing packaged integrated circuit (IC) devices includes a plurality of probes, a pad and a PCB/interposer. The plurality of probes is configured to repeatedly maintain reliable electrical contact with a corresponding plurality of DUT contacts when under a compliant force. The pad provides mechanical support and/or electric coupling for the plurality of probes. In turn, the PCB/interposer supports the pad. In some embodiments, the plurality of probes includes a hard core material such as diamond. In other embodiments, the surface of the probes is hardened.

  • Patent number: 9951212
Abstract: Polyethylene is often stabilized with the combination of a primary antioxidant (such as a hindered phenol, a hydroxylamine or a lactone) and a secondary antioxidant (such as a phosphonite, a monophosphite, or a diphosphite). The diphosphite additives are not completely compatible with “linear” polyethylene. This results in “blooming” of the diphosphite to the surface of the finished polyethylene part or polyethylene film. The use of a preblend of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) and diphosphite mitigates this problem.

  • Patent number: 9494642
Abstract: A test pusher assembly, useful in association with a thermal control unit used to maintain a set point temperature on an integrated circuit device under test, is provided with ejection mechanisms configured to facilitate the disengagement of the DUT at the end of the test. One example of the ejection mechanisms is to provide the substrate pusher assembly with spring-loaded pins that can push the substrate of the DUT away from the pedestal at the end of the test. Another example of the ejection mechanisms is to use a pressurized fluid that can push the substrate of the DUT away from the pedestal at the end of the test.
