Abstract: An oil-based composition for use in a rinse off or leave on hair product for protecting hair cuticles, the composition including a triglyceride carrier, squalene, a coconut oil-based alkane, melon seed oil, argan seed oil, and argan seed oil unsaponifiables. Using 0.001% to 25% of the composition in a rinse off/leave on product provides many improvements in the condition of hair, such as improving the hair moisture content; hair shine; reduction in flyaways; reduction in inter fiber friction; improved curl retention; improved hair smoothness; fill in/correction of hair cuticle defects; improved appearance of hair: increased hair break strength; and/or hair elasticity. The use of the 0.001%-25% of the composition can also prevent: the loss of hair moisture; the formation of split ends; the formation of cuticle gaps and voids; the loss of hair tensile strength; the loss of hair elasticity; hair breakage; and/or increase inter fiber friction.

The spin nut includes a threaded nut having a shoulder for supporting a bracket, and a snap retainer detachably coupled to the threaded nut operable to spin onto any position on the threaded rod. At least one wing is formed on the snap retainer operable to attach to a bracket having a hole and spin to adjust to a position on the threaded rod. The snap retainer is detachably couple the plurality of sectioned threaded nut sections operable to spring open on a side opposite the band to allow the threaded rod to pass through.

Abstract: Compositions and methods that may be useful for the treatment of a viral infection as well as for treating infection induced cytokine release syndrome (CRS) or acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) are described herein. For example, pharmaceutical compositions containing Compound I as disclosed herein may be used to treat infection by a coronavirus, such as SARS-CoV-2 (“COVID-19”).

According to one embodiment, the nut is a spin nut operable to insert the nut into the channel, rotate and lock the nut onto the two rims on the strut. The spin nut includes a base, a pair of wings formed on one end of the base and operable to attach to two rims. The symmetrical helix is formed on the wings on the other end of the base. A shoulder extends from the symmetrical helix. A hole, such as a threaded hole is formed in the shoulder extending into the base, forming a threaded nut, according to one embodiment. A bolt may be inserted into the threaded hole to attach to a bracket, strut, plate or any suitable structure.

Abstract: A night vision system along with an image intensifier tube and method for shuttering the continued draw of electrons from an electron multiplier are provided. The night vision system includes the electron multiplier, or possibly two electron multipliers, each comprising a silicon membrane. A shutter voltage is applied between a first surface and a substantially parallel, opposed second surface of the silicon membrane to discontinue draw of electrons through the electron multiplier and for substantially discontinuing display of an image from the image intensifier tube under certain bright light conditions. Utilizing a global shutter control on the electron multiplier, and the significantly lower voltage for such control mitigates power consumption within the image intensifier, as well as electromagnetic interference and delay response time. A relatively low voltage negative bias shutter voltage on only the electron multiplier selectively provides global shutter to the image intensifier device.

The night vision system incorporates the image intensifier tube in both an analog channel as well as a digital channel, with an addressable display within the analog image intensifier tube analog channel configured to create an electronically addressable output. An analog image intensifier tube is included in the digital imager for presenting binary digital signals representative of an image, or of symbol indicia, and registering those digital representation from the digital imager onto one or more electron multipliers of the analog image intensifier tube within the analog channel. The provided night vision system also utilizes a cathodoluminescent screen, which is a highly efficient light source that reduces system power.
