The power line communication apparatus may include a bypass unit to be serially connected to power line, and pass a communication signal that flows along the power line; a coupling circuit to be connected to two ends of the bypass unit, and couple the communication signal to the power line; an analog front end (AFE) unit to transform an input/output analog signal so that the input/output analog signal is transferred to the power line, and transfer the input/output analog signal to the coupling circuit unit; and a controller to transfer the communication signal, which is to be transferred through the power line to the AFE unit.

Abstract: An optimal energy management and energy equipment control interlocking system for a residential complex is provided. The energy management system for managing energy used by a residential complex may include home servers provided in households in the residential complex to collect energy usage information from a plurality of home devices provided in each of the households, to manage the collected energy usage information, and to control energy used by the plurality of home devices, and a complex server for receiving the energy usage information from the home servers to perform integrated management on the received energy usage information, for controlling a corresponding home server based on the received energy usage information, demand response (DR) information, and profile information for saving energy to perform energy saving control in each household, and for controlling energy used by common equipment provided in the residential complex.

Abstract: An electrical outlet for automatically sensing an electrical device, a system for managing electric energy using the electrical outlet, and a method thereof are disclosed. The electrical outlet may include a plug connecting unit to which a plug of an electrical device including a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag is connected, an RFID reader for receiving information about the electrical device from the RFID tag, an electric energy measuring unit for measuring an amount of electric energy consumed by the electrical device, a controller for managing the received information about the electrical device and information about the measured amount of electric energy, and a communication unit for transmitting the information about the electrical device and the information about the amount of electric energy used to an electric energy management system.

Abstract: The network configuration technology for controlling an electric power sensor node is disclosed. The method for controlling electric power includes transmitting an an Ethernet packet type command message to at least one electric power sensor node through an LRWPAN-Ethernet bridge in accordance with profile information related to an electric power control, the profile information being set by a user; receiving LR-WPAN packet type response messages transmitted from the at least one electric power sensor node in response to the Ethernet package type command message as Ethernet packet type response messages through the LRWPAN-Ethernet bridge; and providing a control result of an electric power equipment corresponding to the at least one electric power sensor node to the user based on the Ethernet packet type response messages.

Abstract: An apparatus collecting building management data, the apparatus includes a plurality of central control & monitoring systems (CCMSs) for receiving building management data collected from various facilities and sensors installed in the building; an object filter for filtering the building management data to produce filtered building management data; and a common communication layer (CCL) message generator for converting the filtered building management data into common building management data. The converted common building management data is used for constructing common management environment of individual buildings.

Abstract: A connector for an automobile with high current capability includes a circular terminal and a connector housing. The circular terminal is configured with a cylinder and has a slot formed in an outer periphery of the cylinder at one end and at least one projection formed on the outer periphery at the other end. The connector housing has a cylindrical space for receiving the circular terminal. The cylindrical space has an anti-separation protrusion formed on an inner periphery thereof and coupled with the slot of the circular terminal to prevent separation of the circular terminal. Also, the cylindrical space has at least one anti-rotation groove formed in the inner periphery thereof and engaged with the at least one projection of the circular terminal so as to prevent rotation of the circular terminal. This connector may keep the coupling between the circular terminal and the connector housing in a stable state.
