Abstract: The present invention provides a cervical collar with a rack and pinion adjustment mechanism. The rack moves a chin support member, which raises and lowers a chin piece. Independently, the present invention provides methods and mechanisms in which the chin support can angulate independently of the collar body. Such angulation is preferably accomplish by pivotally supporting the chin piece on the racks, or on the left and right chin support pieces. Thus, in a preferred class of embodiments, the collar has a pivot for the chin support pieces relative to the collar body, and an other pivot for the chin piece relative to the chin support pieces.

The first and second members are interconnected so the first and second members can move in unison as the throwing disc is thrown. The second member is movable with respect to the first member for changing the aerodynamic characteristics of the throwing disc.

Abstract: An article of furniture foldable into a flat state and made of stiff sheet material includes a plurality of substantially vertical base panels, connected at their lateral edges to form a base portion, and a seat panel which is integral with and hinged from at least one of the base panels along at least one hinge line. The seat panel is disposed substantially horizontally over the base portion while in use and is pivotable around the hinge line to a substantially vertical position when the article of furniture is folded. A spine portion is provided between two of the base panels for reinforcing the article and includes a pair of flanges which are secured to each other. A reinforcing member is disposed within the base portion and is secured to the spine for reinforcing the seat panel.
