    Abstract: A wire reel stand that is capable of supporting multiple wire reels in its open position and is easily collapsed for storage. The stand includes a pair of "U"-shaped frame supports, with a central wire reel support rod disposed between the open ends of the frame supports. A pair of angle brackets, attached to one of the frame supports, is utilized to maintain the stand in a fixed, open position. Side bars are releasably attached to each frame member and, advantageously, remain attached to the wire reel stand in its closed configuration.

  • System for evaluating the performance of a large scale programmable machine capable of having a plurality of terminals attached thereto

    Abstract: A robot system for evaluating the performance of a host computer system which has a plurality of host communication ports connectable to a corresponding plurality of user terminals. Prior to placing the host computer system into service with the user terminals, the robot system is used to emulate the user terminals and to emulate predefined computing tasks input to the host computer system for the user terminals. The master CPU in turn is connected to the plurality of smaller slave CPU's. The smaller slave CPU's are connected to the communication ports of the host computer system. Each of the slave CPU's emulate several user terminals by inputting various computing tasks to the host computer system.

Various design parameters including leg length, leg width and angle formed between the legs permit the antenna element to be configured for circularly polarized radiation of a controlled portion of the electromagnetic energy that propagates along the waveguide.
