  • Publication number: 20250210479
Abstract: A self-powered microelectronic semiconductor device includes low temperature interconnection and encapsulation materials to enable integration of a battery with the microelectronics package during manufacture. The package includes a partially exposed leadframe or leads of a substrate for connecting the battery. The battery includes one or more terminal connectors that can either be manufactured by the battery vendor or externally attached using spot/laser or resistance welding. The steps of connecting the battery to the package are performed after the microelectronic package assembly to ensure the battery does not experience any high temperatures from the package assembly process. Cavities are formed in an overmolded molding compound to expose the leadframe or battery pads for electronic connection. A low temperature electrically conductive bonding agent is used to create the electrical and mechanical bond of the battery tabs to the leadframe.

  • Publication number: 20250206474
Abstract: An apparatus configured to provide portioned instances of a compressible material includes a channel assembly, a gas source, a cutting assembly, and a discharge assembly. The channel assembly holds a bulk instance of the material extending through upper and lower channels of a continuous channel. The gas source supplies gas to compress the bulk instance. The cutting assembly moves in relation to the channel assembly to isolate the upper and lower channels, severing upper and lower material portions of the bulk instance. The discharge assembly directs gas to impinge on a lower face of the cutting assembly to discharge the lower material portion as a portioned instance. The channel assembly may be moveable, where operation of the gas source, cutting assembly, and/or discharge assembly are based on moving the channel assembly between various positions. The gas supply may be controlled based on a determined property of the portioned instance.

  • Patent number: 12337845
Abstract: Methods and systems described herein are directed to automatedly detecting a vehicle accident occurrence based on a generated accident suspicion. An accident detection system can retrieve a myriad of information as data relating to a driver or a vehicle of the driver. The retrieved information can be assessed to determine assignment of a suspicion of a vehicle accident occurrence. The suspicion assignment can be based on, with respect to historical insurance data, predetermined thresholds and/or machine learning for the retrieved information. The retrieved information can be verified by auxiliary data remote from the driver or the vehicle of the driver. The accident detection system can verify the suspicion by dispatching one or more notifications to the driver, and in the absence of response, determine whether the suspicion is true via the collection of information for a suspected location of the accident or from individuals associated with the driver.

  • Patent number: 12339886
Abstract: The systems and methods disclosed herein relate to querying data using artificial intelligence models. A generalized model receives an output generation request and partitions it into segments mapped to specific domains, where each domain indicates associated databases and guidelines. The segments are routed to domain-specific models trained on domain-specific data, which generate query fragments by comparing performance metrics and system resource usage metrics. The query fragments are aggregated into an overall query that satisfies guidelines across domains. The systems and methods can include a feedback loop to adjust the domain-specific models using user interactions and performance metrics to dynamically adapt to a skill level or experience of the user.

  • Publication number: 20250195129
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to controlling electrical power of an electrotherapeutic signal that is provided to a biological tissue engaged by an electrosurgical instrument during a medical procedure. Electrical power—a product of a voltage difference across and an electrical current conducted by the engaged biological tissue—is controlled according to a therapeutic schedule. The electrotherapeutic schedule can be reduced or terminated in response to a termination criterion being met. In some examples, the termination criterion is a current characteristic, such as, for example, a decrease in current conducted by the engaged biological tissue. In some examples, the termination criterion is a biological tissue resistance characteristic, such as, for example, an increase in the biological tissue resistance that exceeds a predetermined delta resistance value.

  • Publication number: 20250194943
Abstract: A system and method for determining native cardiac output of a heart while maintaining operation of an intracardiac blood pump includes determining a current drawn by the pump motor, a blood pressure within the ascending aorta, and a change in the blood temperature based on a thermodilution technique. An intracardiac blood pump positioned in the aorta includes at least one sensor for determining a motor current and blood pressure and a thermistor for determining the change in blood temperature after a precise fluid bolus has been introduced into the vasculature. A processor receives current, pressure, and temperature measurements, and calculates a pump flow output and a total cardiac output from which the native cardiac output is calculated. The native cardiac output and other clinically relevant variables derived from the measurements inform decisions related to continued therapeutic care, including increasing or decreasing cardiac assistance provided by the intracardiac pump.
