Abstract: A gas sensing leak mitigation unit for a gas system includes a gas sensing element, at least one onboard relay, and at least one microcontroller. The at least one microcontroller is configured to receive a signal from the gas sensing element and to determine if the signal from the gas sensing element is above a first predetermined threshold level. The at least one microcontroller is further configured to control the energizing and de-energizing of the onboard relays. A first onboard relay may be configured, when energized, to transmit power to a compressor of the gas system and, when de-energized, to break power to the compressor. A second onboard relay may be configured, when de-energized, to transmit power to a fan control. The gas sensing element, the at least one onboard relay and the at least one microcontroller may all be arranged within a common housing.

  • Patent number: 12297628
Abstract: A smart faucet controller (400) and method (100), comprising the steps of: detecting water movement (102); sensing water temperature (104); and processing data created by the detecting and sensing steps and sending instructions (106) to: close an exit valve to disallow water from exiting a delivery point if water is below a minimum threshold temperature, substantially simultaneously open a bypass valve to allow water to circulate back through water lines to a hot water source, activate a remote water circulation pump to send heated water to a point of use, and reset the exit valve and bypass valve to default positions and turn off a water circulation pump once the water reaches the threshold temperature. Advantageously, the method (100) and smart faucet controller (400) are configured to provide and/or measure a water conservation function that avoids wasting water.

  • Patent number: 12301020
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment includes a method of communication between a wireless power receiver to a wireless power transmitter. The method includes receiving, by an antenna of the wireless power receiver, radio frequency (RF) signals from the wireless power transmitter, wherein the wireless power receiver substantially matches an impedance of the wireless power transmitter. The method further includes, while receiving the RF signals from the wireless power transmitter: (a) determining whether a communication criterion is satisfied, and (b) in accordance with a determination that the communication criterion is satisfied, introducing an impedance mismatch between the wireless power receiver and the wireless power transmitter that causes a portion of the RF signals to be reflected by the antenna as a modulated signal, wherein the wireless power transmitter is configured to receive and interpret the modulated signal without using a separate communication radio.

  • Patent number: 12297039
Abstract: A dirt collection region of the vacuum cleaner is removably positionable in air flow communication with an inlet port of an apparatus in which the openable door of the dirt collection region of the vacuum cleaner is positioned interior the apparatus. The apparatus has an air treatment member. When the apparatus is standing on the floor, the apparatus has an upper end which has the inlet port. When the dirt collection region of the vacuum cleaner positioned in flow communication with the inlet port of the apparatus and when the system is in the emptying mode of operation, a motor and fan assembly of the vacuum cleaner moves air from the dirt collection region of the vacuum cleaner as dirt, which has been accumulated in the dirt collection region of the vacuum cleaner, travels to the air treatment member of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 12301579
Abstract: A cross-account data management (CAM) service of a provider network may assign, to a primary account of an organization of a client, permission to manage resource management plans for other accounts of the organization. The CAM service may specify, using the primary account (e.g., by an administrator using the primary account), a resource management plan (e.g., data backup plan) The CAM service may indicate, using the primary account, multiple accounts of the organization that the resource management plan is to be implemented for. The CAM service may cause, based on the permission assigned to the primary account, the resource management plan to be implemented for the different accounts of the organization (e.g., by causing execution of jobs to implement a backup plan).
