  • Publication number: 20250164627
Abstract: An asset detection device and method of using a mmWave radar to determine whether a container is mounted to a transport chassis. The reflected signal may include multiple peaks and may be ambiguous. The device may determine if a peak is within a container range and is above a threshold magnitude. If the peak is not the highest peak in the reflected signal the device may disambiguate the signal by filtering it using a stored average no-container signal. If the peak is not the highest peak in the reflected signal the device may disambiguate the signal by determining if the highest peak is due to multipath. In some cases no peaks may be both above the threshold and within the container range, in which case the device determines there is no container present. The device reports container status determinations and reflected signal analysis to a remote server.

  • Publication number: 20250166469
Abstract: Visual features of a vehicle, a vehicle's orientation with respect to a transaction terminal, and an individual associated with the vehicle are derived from video captured of the terminal and a surrounding area of the terminal. Additional information associated with brute force attacks in a location associated with the terminal are obtained as additional features. The visual features and the additional features are provided as input to a trained Machine-Learning Model (MLM) and the MLM provides as output a confidence value representing a prediction as to whether the current vehicle and the current individual are potentially about to engage in a brute force attack on the terminal. When the confidence value exceeds a threshold value, enhanced feature detection is enabled on the video, external systems are notified, and an incident packet of information is assembled.

  • Publication number: 20250167909
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for transmitting information optically in free space. For instance, a system may include an optical signal generator to generate an amplified beam of light. A telescope transmits the amplified beam through the medium and receives an inbound beam of light. A detector system may include one or more (or multiple) detectors and a routing system that transmits the inbound beam to a selected set of detectors. In some cases, the system can determine a re-configuration condition based on control parameters and perform a system re-configuration to direct the inbound beam to a different set of detectors. In some cases, the system includes a remote fiber head or wavelength division multiplexing.

  • Publication number: 20250165940
Abstract: A payment system reduces transaction costs for online merchants. The payment system receives a transaction amount for the purchase of goods or services by a consumer from an online merchant. The payment system receives bank identification numbers for a plurality of accounts of the consumer that could be used by the consumer to pay for the good or services. The payment system determines transaction costs associated with processing a payment transaction with an acquirer processor using each of the consumer accounts. The payment system determines a recommended consumer account to use for the purchase of the good or services based at least in part on the transaction costs. Tender steering information is generated and sent to the consumer. Tender steering information includes the recommended consumer account information and one or more incentives to incentivize the consumer to use the recommended consumer account for the payment of the goods or services.

  • Publication number: 20250151644
Abstract: The combine harvester includes a grain tank having a cover includes pivotable panels connected by collapsible connections so that the cover forms a funnel-shaped extension of the main receptacle of the tank when the cover is fully deployed. At least one of the panels includes an aperture and a door configured to close or open the aperture by pivoting about a pivot axis. When the cover is deployed, the door either closes the aperture and is secured thereto so that the panel has the same function as in a conventional harvester. However, when the door is opened, and supported by a support structure of the harvester, the door obtains the function of a walking plank that enables a person to walk on the plank and thereby access the interior of the tank.

  • Publication number: 20250157812
Abstract: Methods for forming a through-glass vias in glass-based substrates include irradiating a glass-based substrate with a laser beam to form a damage track extending from a first major surface to a second major surface of the glass-based substrate, and contacting the glass-based substrate with a first etchant, including a base, to form a preliminary through-glass via. The method includes contacting the glass-based substrate with a second etchant, including an acid. The contacting with the second etchant widens a first cross-sectional area of the preliminary through-glass via at the first major surface of the glass-based substrate and widens a second cross-sectional area of the preliminary through-glass via at the second major surface of the glass-based substrate.
