  • Publication number: 20250237685
Abstract: A method for monitoring the line impedance of a protective earth (“PE”) conductor is provided. The method injects a small stimulus current at a frequency much higher than the grid frequency. The stimulus current circulates in the loops between a grid-connected device and a grid source, creating small voltage drops in the grid conductors, resulting in a common mode voltage which can be measured. The method then includes measuring the common mode voltage and the residual current at a point of common coupling (“PCC”). The method then includes monitoring the resistive and reactive parts of the line impedance. For example, the method can monitor the line impedance and report a broken PE conductor or a high PE resistance, beyond a given threshold where safety becomes a concern.

  • Publication number: 20250235696
Abstract: A method for variable electrostimulative behavior modification includes sensing placement of a first anatomical portion of a body in contact to a surface of a target object adapted. for behavior modification with a multiplicity of electrostimulative end points coupled to an energy source. The method additionally includes delivering an electrical neurostimulus through one of the end points nearest to the placement of the first anatomical portion in proximity to the surface the electrical neurostimulus including a waveform promoting a modification of behavior associated with the placement of the first anatomical portion in proximity to the surface. Thereafter, an anomalous characteristic of the sensed placement indicating a failure to modify the behavior may be detected and a profile of the waveform of the electrical neurostimulus changes to a different waveform in response to the anomalous characteristic of the sensed placement.

  • Patent number: 12364574
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for advanced electrode management in neurological monitoring applications include receiving sockets configured to receive connectors having groups of electrodes. The physician is not required to manually map each electrode with its corresponding input channel. Electrodes are coupled to the corresponding input channels in groups through connectors having a unique identification (ID). The system is configured to read the unique ID of each connector and establish its identity. Based on the ID, the system configures itself to automatically correlate or associate each electrode with its corresponding input channel when the connectors are first inserted into the receiving sockets, and again if the connectors are removed and re-inserted into different positions in the receiving sockets, to insure the electrodes are always mapped to the same input channels.
