  • Patent number: 10605476
Abstract: A monitoring apparatus includes a detecting unit with a humidity sensor configured to sense humidity and output a corresponding humidity signal. A controller is configured to receive the humidity signal and output a ventilation control signal when the humidity signal exceeds a preset humidity threshold. A first driving unit is configured to receive the ventilation control signal and drive a ventilation device. The monitoring apparatus detects a humidity condition in an environment with a humidity sensor. When the humidity signal exceeds the preset humidity threshold, such as when the humidity is high, a ventilation control signal is output by the controller to control the first driving unit to drive the ventilation device. When the humidity is low the ventilation device is turned off.

  • Patent number: 10609700
Abstract: A downlink control information (DCI), such as a blanking DCI (bDCI) message may be transmitted by a base station (e.g., eNB) and received by a mobile device (e.g., UE). The bDCI may indicate that the eNB will not transmit a subsequent DCI to the UE for a duration of time. The UE may be in continuous reception mode or connected discontinuous reception (C-DRX) mode. The UE may therefore determine to enter a sleep state or take other action. The bDCI may specify an explicit blanking duration, or an index indicating a blanking duration from a lookup table, and/or the blanking duration (and/or a blanking duration offset value) may be determined in advance, e.g., semi-statically. When the UE is in C-DRX mode, the UE may be configured such that either the sleep/wake period of the C-DRX mode or the blanking period of the bDCI may take precedence over the other.

  • Patent number: 10609690
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a terminal device, in which a processing module selects one or more normal carriers or special carriers from a first carrier set for an uplink subframe, where the first carrier set includes all carriers in carrier aggregation that are used by the terminal device to send a first uplink subframe; and a sending module cancels sending of the uplink subframe on one or more carriers, where the special carrier is a carrier on which the terminal device sends neither uplink data nor uplink control information in uplink, and the normal carrier is a carrier that is used by the terminal device to send uplink data and/or uplink control information. An uplink subframe on some carriers is rejected, thereby resolving a problem that information such as a downlink channel characteristic of a carrier cannot be obtained when no uplink reference signal is sent on the carrier.

  • Patent number: 10603007
Abstract: A method and system acquiring, processing and displaying breast ultrasound images in a way that makes breast ultrasound screening more practical and thus more widely used, and reduces the occurrence of missing cancers in screening and diagnosis, using automated scanning of chestwardly compressed breasts with ultrasound. Enhanced, whole-breast navigator overview images are produced from scanning breasts with ultrasound that emphasize abnormalities in the breast while excluding obscuring influences of non-breast structures, particularly those external to the breast such as ribs and chest wall, and differentiating between likely malignant and likely benign abnormalities and otherwise enhancing the navigator overview image and other images, thereby reducing the time to read, screen, and/or diagnose to practical time limits and also reduce screening or diagnostic errors.

Abstract: An aspect of the disclosure includes a method, a system and a computer program product for removing dynamic images when determining the position of an object relative to a reflective surface. The method includes acquiring a first image of an object and the reflective surface with a camera, the camera positioned adjacent the reflective surface. It is determined when a dynamic element is displayed on the reflective surface. A second image is generated by subtracting the dynamic element from the first image. The object is identified in one of the first image and second image. A reflection of the object on the reflective surface is identified in the second image. Three-dimensional coordinates of at least a portion of the object are determined based at least in part on the identifying of the object and the identifying of the reflection of the object.

  • Patent number: 10606846
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for determining how to automatically answer questions like “Where did Harry Potter go to school?” Carefully built knowledge graphs provide rich sources of facts. However, it still remains a challenge to answer factual questions in natural language due to the tremendous variety of ways a question can be raised. Presented herein are embodiments of systems and methods for human inspired simple question answering (HISQA), a deep-neural-network-based methodology for automatic question answering using a knowledge graph. Inspired by human's natural actions in this task, embodiments first find the correct entity via entity linking, and then seek a proper relation to answer the question—both achieved by deep gated recurrent networks and neural embedding mechanism.

  • Patent number: 10606818
Abstract: In an approach for providing a framework to register a sensor module and manifest the capability the sensor module supports, a processor receives a first module registration request, wherein the first module registration request includes a sensor module and metadata. A processor determines that the first module registration request is compatible with a second module registration request by comparing data stored in a module database associated with the second module registration request to data within the first module registration request. A processor updates the module database with the metadata of the first module registration request. A processor generates a module delegate, wherein the module delegate provides data access and interaction interfaces based on the metadata. A processor generates a custom configuration component.
