The driving method includes the following operations: moving a first image capture unit and a second image capture unit of the HMD to respectively capture two left-eye images and two right-eye images; calculating a first eye relief according to at least one left-eye feature in the two left-eye images; calculating a second eye relief according to at least one right-eye feature in the two right-eye images; calculating an interpupillary distance (IPD) according to the first eye relief and the second eye relief; and adjusting, according to the IPD, a distance between a first lens and a second lens of the HMD.

    Abstract: A centrifugal fan type cooling module includes a centrifugal fan and a radiator. The centrifugal fan provides a fan rotor with fan blades and an axial shaft and a fan stator set with an axial core, an upper cover and a frame. The fan blades extend straight forward radially with the outer end of each fan blade has an enlarged curve end part and the rest part of the respective fan blade has a width shorter than the axial shaft. The frame encloses and fits with the top of the radiator and the axial shaft is rotationally joined to the axial core such that a hollow space is formed between the radiator and the fan rotor. Heat from an electronic component is transmited to the radiator and removed outward quickly in all directions by way of upward suction force of the centrifugal fan instead of contacting other electronic members directly.

The cooling device comprises a metal cover adapted to completely cover and contact the CPU, a hollow seat, a thermal electric cooler shaped to fit in the seat and adapted to contact the cover, a heat dissipation member (e.g., fins) enclosed by a housing and mounted on the seat for contacting the thermal electric cooler, a first fan mounted on top of the housing, and a second fan mounted on side of the housing. An optimum heat dissipation can be obtained by running a control program to control on/off of the fans and power of the thermal electric cooler by operating the cooling device in one of a plurality of corresponding temperature ranges of the CPU.

The fan hub is shorter than the fan blade part in height so that air current generated by the fan blades can flow fast without being stagnated under the joining surface of the driving part.

Moreover, the hub can be formed of a plastic material and the shielding-can can be formed of a metal material. The ribs can be easily warped when the shielding-can expands.
