  • Patent number: 8231188
Abstract: A slide assembly includes a first rail, a second rail, an engaging member and a resilient member. The first rail includes an extension wall and the second rail is slidably connected to the first rail, and has a passage. The engaging member is pivotably connected to the second rail, and has a first end and a second end. The first end includes a stop. The resilient member is connected between the second end of the engaging member and the second rail so as to provide a resilient force to the engaging member so that the stop of the first end of the engaging member is inserted into the passage of the second rail by the resilient force from the resilient member. The stop is longitudinally located corresponding to the extension wall of the first rail. When the second rail is slid to a pre-set position relative to the first rail, the stop of the engaging member contacts the extension wall of the first rail to form a stop point.

  • Publication number: 20120072921
Abstract: An image-data-processing device for processing first image data includes an image processing chip with a first memory and a second memory. The image processing chip further includes a data managing unit and a coding module, wherein the memory space of the second memory is greater than the memory space of the first memory. The data managing unit receives the first image data from an image sensor and transmits the image data to the encoding module, wherein the encoding module generates a second image data based on the first image data received. The data managing unit then selectively stores the second image data in the first memory or the second memory.

  • Patent number: 8091374
Abstract: A weighing type ice vending machine includes an ice cube formation device installed in a machine body for supplying a specific weight of ice cubes after coins are inputted, and a body composed of a storage bucket, an output device, a weight sensing module and a control loop. Pure water is put into an ice tray in the machine body and condensed into ice cubes which are gathered into a storage bucket for a cold storage. A user puts a user's container on a weighing scale of the weight sensing module at an outlet of the machine body outlet and inserts coins whose dollar amount information is displayed. The quantity of outputted ice cubes is calculated and outputted automatically, and then the ice supply is stopped. The quantity of remained ice cubes in the machine body is recorded automatically, such that the ice cube will be produced again timely and the supply of ice cubes will be stopped temporarily.

  • Publication number: 20110116725
Abstract: A data compression system and a data compression method using the same are provided. The data compression method includes acquiring original data from a memory and performs image processing and quantization on the original data to transform the original data into a quantization matrix. The data compression method then transforms the quantization matrix into a digital sequence based on a coding table and compares the data volume of the digital sequence and a target volume to generate a volume difference. The data compression method transforms the digital sequence into an inverse quantization matrix based on the volume difference and then transforms the inverse quantization matrix into a modified digital sequence based on the volume difference. The data compression method repeats the processes until the data volume of the digital sequence is substantially equal to a target volume or within an acceptable range of the target volume.

  • Publication number: 20090046081
Abstract: A device and method is provided to selectively modify the transmission performance of a frame data. Through a parallel transmission interface, the frame data is transmitted under a corresponding interface protocol and transmitted toward an image display. The method first detects a data size of the frame data and then provides a transmission control signal based on the detection of the data size. Next, selectively divide the frame data by a factor M based on the transmission control signal. Furthermore, transmit the divided frame data at a raised clock rate based on the factor M. Afterwards, temporarily store the divided frame data about to be transmitted toward the image display until the whole frame data is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 7307370
Abstract: The present invention relates to a long-stroke nanopositioning device, comprising: a piezoelectric tube; a quartz glass rod; two fixed seats being disposed on the ends of the piezoelectric tube and a piezoelectric actuator. Each of the fixed seats has a base for receiving at least one spring and a plurality of ruby balls. The quartz glass rod is gripped to the fixed seat by the ruby balls of the fixed seat wherein the gripping force is controlled by means of the spring. The piezoelectric actuator applies an input voltage to the piezoelectric tube to cause one end of the piezoelectric tube to have a relative displacement in a direction along the axis of the quartz glass rod. The present invention provides a nanopositioning device capable of long stroke displacements at the nanometer scale by controlling the input voltage of the piezoelectric actuator and the gripping force of the ruby balls.
