  • Patent number: 7204717
Abstract: A card connector includes an insulating housing (1), a number of contacts (4) and a holding plate (8?, 8). The insulating housing (1) defines a card receiving space (130) with a card inserting opening along a card inserting direction. The contacts (4) include bended contacting portions cantilevered exposed in the card receiving space (130) and soldering portions retained on the insulating housing. The holding plate (8?, 8) is assembled to the insulating housing and formed with a receiving portion, free ends of the contacting portions of the contacts (4) are received in the receiving portion of the holding plate to avoid colliding with a card directly.

  • Patent number: 7128612
Abstract: An electrical card connector is provided for accommodating various electrical cards. The electrical card connector comprises an integral housing (1) defining an inserting port (11), a plurality of terminals (2, 3, 4, 5) respectively received in the housing, a metal shell (7) assembled on the housing. The housing has a top bridge (16) around the inserting port thereof. The terminals (5) extend out of the housing through the inserting port. The metal shell is formed with a supporting arm on a front edge thereof, the supporting arm is disposed below the top bridge and support the top bridge upwardly to prevent the inserting port from distorting during soldering the terminals (5) to the print circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20050269915
Abstract: The present invention relates to a long-stroke nanopositioning device, comprising: a piezoelectric tube; a quartz glass rod; two fixed seats being disposed on the ends of the piezoelectric tube and a piezoelectric actuator. Each of the fixed seats has a base for receiving at least one spring and a plurality of ruby balls. The quartz glass rod is gripped to the fixed seat by the ruby balls of the fixed seat wherein the gripping force is controlled by means of the spring. The piezoelectric actuator applies an input voltage to the piezoelectric tube to cause one end of the piezoelectric tube to have a relative displacement in a direction along the axis of the quartz glass rod. The present invention provides a nanopositioning device capable of long stroke displacements at the nanometer scale by controlling the input voltage of the piezoelectric actuator and the gripping force of the ruby balls.
