    Abstract: A connecting device of a retaining ring of a safety belt includes a main body, a bolt, and a locking member. The main body is used with the bolt to form an enclosure or not. The bolt passes through a bolt bore of the main body and has a first teeth portion and a stopper located in a first half part of the first teeth portion. The first teeth portion and the locking member are used to control the bolt to lock or to unlock. The locking member could move between a first position and a second position along an axial direction of the locking member and could rotate around a central axis of the locking member. When the bolt is at a closed position and the locking member is at the first position, a second teeth portion of the locking member is meshed with the first half part. When the bolt is at the closed position and the locking member is at the second position, the second teeth portion is meshed with the second half part.

    Abstract: A carabiner includes a retaining frame, wherein each of two opposite sides of the retaining frame has a pivotally connecting portion and an inserting tube, respectively. The inserting tube has an inserted hole inside and is fitted around by a socket portion of a hook-shaped tube of the hook member. A wire rope passes through the hook-shaped tube. A bottom end of the wire rope is inserted into the inserted hole. A nose is engaged with a free end of the hook-shaped tube and a free end of the wire rope. A portion, where the socket portion, the inserting tube, and the wire rope are overlapped, is compressed to fix. The pivotally connecting portion is pivotally connected to a gate member. A top end of the gate member is detachably hooked to the nose. With such design, the weight of the carabiner could be reduced without worsening the safety.

The rotating member includes a main body and a plurality of pawls which are pivotally connected to a mounting portion of the main body. Each of the pawls has an abutting portion, a pivot, and a body portion. The braking device has a plurality of abutted portions. When a rotation speed of the rotating member is greater than or equal to a predetermined rotation speed, the abutting portions abut against the abutted portions to stop a rotation of the rotating member. When the rotation speed of the rotating member is smaller than the predetermined rotation speed, the body portion of each of the pawls touches a periphery of the abutted portions and swings as an outer diameter of the abutted portions of the braking device changes.

    Abstract: A fall arrest connector is used to connect at least a safety belt with a snap hook and a wearable harness for a user to wear. The fall arrest connector includes a retaining ring, a buckle ring, and a breakable connection. The retaining ring, including the first connecting portion, is connected to the wearable harness. The buckle ring, including the second connecting portion, is hooked by the snap hook. The breakable connection connects the second connecting portion and the first connecting portion. When the retaining ring or the buckle ring is pulled by a predetermined external force, the breakable connection is broken to separate the first and the second connecting portion. The retaining ring and the buckle ring could respectively be connected to the substitute protection device, which could provide the user an instant protection when the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are separated.

    Abstract: A fall arrester includes a holder, rotating drum, braking device, and dust cover. The rotating drum is pivotally provided on and within the holder, and includes a main body and at least one pawl; the main body has an accommodating part to be wound by a cable and a setting part. The pawl is pivotally provided on the setting part, and the braking device is fixed to the holder and between the holder and the setting part. When the rotating drum rotates quickly by pull of the cable, the pawl would pivot and make a part thereof abut against a part of the braking device to stop the rotating drum. The dust cover is fixed to the setting part, and thereby prevents dust from affecting the pawl and the braking device located therein, and thus to enhance safe use thereof.

The rotating drum is pivotally installed on the holder, and includes main body and pawl which has first abutting portion and is pivotally provided on setting part. The braking module is fixed to holder, and includes cover, friction plate, and ratchet plate, being coaxially set in order. The ratchet plate has second abutting portion on its periphery. When rotating drum rotates at speed greater than or equal to predetermined rotating speed, and first abutting portion moves to second position to abut against second abutting portion, the cover and ratchet plate rotate relative to friction plate, driven by rotating drum. Additionally, the cover and ratchet plate generate frictional resistance with friction plate respectively to stop the rotating drum. Thus, the braking module of the fall arrester can be replaced thereby enabling provision of a new braking module as an initial condition.

The main body slidably fits around the track bar. When the locking portion in the second position, the main body could slide to fit a flange of a fixture. After that, returns the locking portion back to the first position to fix the main body on the track bar.

When at least a part of the second insulating section is exposed via the restricting sleeve, the restricting sleeve is located at a warning position. The safety belt base has an outer peripheral surface adapted to be wrapped by the safety belt and an inner peripheral surface being in contact with the friction surfaces thereof. With the design describing above, the friction surfaces rub the inner peripheral surface to generate a rolling friction, thereby to slow down an unwound speed of the safety belt.

    Abstract: A fall arrest device includes a bracket, a rotating member rotatably mounted to the bracket, a safety belt wound around the rotating member, a brake wheel connected to the rotating member, a brake block pivotally connected to the brake wheel, and a restoring spring fitting around the second segment and having one end thereof terminating in a ring that has an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the first segment. Another end of the restoring spring is connected to the brake block. The brake wheel has a fixed rod having a first segment and a second segment. An outer diameter of the first segment is greater than an outer diameter of the second segment. The restoring spring urges the brake block to be located in a restoring position. Thus, the restoring spring could be prevented from falling out of the fixing rod.
