    Abstract: A fall arrest device includes a bracket, a rotating member rotatably mounted to the bracket, a safety belt wound around the rotating member, a brake wheel connected to the rotating member, a brake block pivotally connected to the brake wheel, and a restoring spring fitting around the second segment and having one end thereof terminating in a ring that has an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the first segment. Another end of the restoring spring is connected to the brake block. The brake wheel has a fixed rod having a first segment and a second segment. An outer diameter of the first segment is greater than an outer diameter of the second segment. The restoring spring urges the brake block to be located in a restoring position. Thus, the restoring spring could be prevented from falling out of the fixing rod.

    Abstract: A fall protection device includes a frame, a rotatable member, a safety belt, a braking plate, and at least one braking part, wherein a side surface of the frame has at least one stopper protruding therefrom. A stopper integrally protrudes from two adjacent side walls of a hole as a monolithic unit and extends in an arc shape. The rotatable member is rotatably and pivotally disposed on the frame. The safety belt winds around the rotatable member. The braking plate is coaxially connected to the rotatable member, whereby the braking plate rotates coaxially along with the rotatable member. The braking part is pivotally connected to an inner surface of the braking plate. When the braking plate rotates, the braking part is driven to pivot from a restoring position to a locking position to abut against the stopper, thereby to restrict the rotatable member from rotating.

The braking parts are pivotally connected to an inner surface of a plate body of the braking plate. When the braking parts are located at a locking position, an abutting portion of each of the braking parts is located at a position corresponding to one of the stoppers and abuts against one of the stoppers at the same time.

The sleeve is surrounded by the ring and is adapted to be connected to the safety belt. The reinforcement portion is embedded in the ring. With the reinforcement portion, the structural strength of the safety belt base could be reinforced, and the first portion and the second portion could be prevented from disengaging from each other.

    Abstract: A fall protection device is used to connect with a safety belt, including a frame having a receiving space, a shaft disposed on the frame, a decelerating member connected to the shaft and disposed in the receiving space, and a safety belt base fitted around the decelerating member. An outer peripheral surface of the decelerating member has a plurality of friction surfaces arranged at intervals. The safety belt base has an outer peripheral surface adapted to be wrapped by the safety belt and an inner peripheral surface being in contact with the friction surfaces thereof. With the design describing above, the friction surfaces rub the inner peripheral surface to generate a rolling friction, thereby to slow down an unwound speed of the safety belt.

The first and the second housing parts conjugate with each other and constitute a housing. The brake unit is positioned in the first containing rooms, while part of the safety belt and the spiral spring are positioned in the second containing rooms. By separately positioning the brake unit and the safety belt in the first and the second rooms, the dust coiled together with the safety belt into the housing will not adhere to the brake unit and its effect on the brake unit's function is prevented.

The axial buffer device includes a buffer rod having a first friction surface; and a buffer member having a second friction surface which contacts the first friction surface. When any one of the buffer rod and the buffer member is pulled by a force which is greater than a default value to overcome a maximum friction between the buffer member and the buffer rod, the buffer member would slide on the buffer rod with friction to cushion the pulling force. The base is formed by two symmetrically combined cases, wherein each case includes a first metal core partially clad in a first insulating layer. The latch includes a second metal core, a second insulating layer, and a tongue adapted to insert into a chamber of the base. The two positioning members are pivotally provided on the base and partially located in the chamber. When each positioning member is moved to the first position, a stopper thereof confines the tongue in a locking position to prevent the latch from being separated from the base; when each positioning member is moved to the second position, the stopper thereof is away from the tongue, allowing the latch to be disengaged from the base. The two elastic members push the positioning members toward the first position.
