    Abstract: Systems and methods for image stabilization of video imagery generated by applications are disclosed. In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include executable instructions to receive a video stream from an application executed on the IHS, identify a level of jitter in the video stream, and process the video stream by re-positioning imagery in the video stream to compensate for the jitter. The instructions may then display the processed video stream on a display. The display displays the processed video stream in place of the video stream generated by the application.

The digital filter generates a current digital compensation value. The digital pulse width signal modulator generates a pulse width modulation signal. The controller provides a second working parameter corresponding to the second external control command when receiving a second external control command. The controller calculates a transition value according to the second working parameter and the current digital compensation value. The controller provides the second working parameter and the transition value to the digital filter.

The bottle sleeve is elastic. An inner diameter of at least one portion of the first accommodating space is less than an outer diameter of the bottle. The bottle sleeve holds the bottle when the bottle is inserted into the first accommodating space via the first opening. The weight detecting module is disposed inside the second accommodating space to measure weights of the bottle and the liquid at different time points and to determine the volume variation of the liquid according to a difference of the weights of the bottle and the liquid at different time points.

A motion difference calculator accumulates differences between current picture values and previous picture values within a neighborhood of each pixel to provide a corresponding motion difference. A histogram counter performs histogram counting according to motion differences of the pixels. A filter value calculator provides a filter value for each pixel according to operations of the motion difference calculator and the histogram counter. A blender blends the current picture value and the previous picture value of each pixel according to weightings correlated to the filter value, and provides a filtered picture value for each pixel of the filtered picture.

The luminance weighting value processor generates a weighting value according to a luminance value of a current pixel of a current frame of a video signal and a luminance value of a previous pixel of a previous frame of the video signal. The overdrive value generator generates an overdrive value according to a current pixel value of the current pixel and a previous pixel value of the previous pixel. The outputting unit generates an output pixel value according to the weighting value, the overdrive value and the current pixel value. Using the device and the method for driving a liquid crystal display according to the present invention, noise due to overdrive process can be reduced.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a noise reduction method and apparatus for use in reducing noise of a digital image. The noise reduction apparatus comprises a threshold value generating unit, a determining unit, and an adjusting unit. The threshold value generating unit generates a noise threshold value according to a target window and a first chrominance value and a second chrominance value of an input pixel of the image. The determining unit determines whether the input pixel needs to be adjusted according to the noise threshold value and pixel values of neighboring pixels of the input pixel. The adjusting unit adjusts the pixel value of the input pixel when the input pixel is determined as needing to be adjusted. Using the noise reduction apparatus of the present invention, not only noise of a digital image can be identified, but also the degradation caused by the noise can be reduced and thus the overall picture quality can be improved.
