    Abstract: Techniques are provided for implementing garbage collection and bin synchronization for a distributed storage architecture of worker nodes managing distributed storage composed of bins of blocks. As the distributed storage architecture scales out to accommodate more storage and worker nodes, garbage collection used to free unused blocks becomes unmanageable and slow. Accordingly garbage collection is improved by utilizing heuristics to dynamically speed up or down garbage collection and set sizes for subsets of a bin to process instead of the entire bin. This ensures that garbage collection does not use stale information about what blocks are in-use, and ensures garbage collection does not unduly impact client I/O processing or conversely falls behind on garbage collection. Garbage collection can be incorporated into a bin sync process to improve the efficiency of the bin sync process so that unused blocks are not needlessly copied by the bin sync process.

    Abstract: A copolymer, a preparation method therefor, vulcanized rubber and a use thereof are provided. The copolymer contains a polyethylene segment and a butadiene rubber segment. Based on the total weight of the copolymer, the weight ratio of the polyethylene chain segment to the butadiene rubber chain segment is 0.1:99.9-80:20. In the butadiene rubber chain segment, based on the total amount of the butadiene rubber chain segment, the content of cis-1,4-structure is 90-98.5 mol %. The continuous methylene sequence length in the copolymer is at least 165. By means of synthesizing the copolymer by using in-situ polymerization, a polyethylene butadiene rubber block copolymer has a compatibilization effect, the dissolution of a reinforcement polyethylene phase and a butadiene rubber matrix is facilitated, a copolymer with excellent dispersibility of reinforced filler can be obtained without later compounding.

    Abstract: A comprehensive utilization method of beneficiation-metallurgy-chemical combination for germanium-rich lignite includes the following steps: 1) germanium-rich lignite sizing and grinding, 2) catalytic pre-oxidation, 3) nitric acid leaching, and 4) recycling and enrichment of germanium solution. The high effective extraction of germanium from the germanium-rich lignite was achieved via a combination of mineral beneficiation, hydrometallurgy, and chemical processing. Meanwhile, a high yield and high degree of depolymerization humic acid product was produced as byproducts. This method could not only effectively avoid high carbon emission and organic resource waste during conventional germanium-rich lignite pyrometallurgical processing, but also could produce humic acid as quality raw materials for metallurgical and agricultural industries, which has advantages of less environmental pollution, high extraction efficiency, and low comprehensive costs.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are a system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating an exposure-adjusted frame based on local tone curve sampling. In some embodiments, a change in exposure times between a first frame captured by an image sensor and a second frame captured by an image sensor subsequent to the first frame may be determined. Different local tone curve resampling techniques may be performed based on whether the change is an increase or decrease in exposure times. Such techniques may resample local tone curves generated for the first frame to match the exposure time of the second frame. The resampled local tone curves, when applied to the second frame, mitigate various artifacts in the second frame, such as frame-to-frame flicker.
