  • Publication number: 20230412163
Abstract: A power supply module and a power supply judgment method thereof are provided. A power supply circuit supplies power to an electronic device coupled to the power supply module. A plugging detection circuit detects the connection state of the electronic device. A judgment circuit switches the electronic device to connect to a first signal channel or a second signal channel in response to whether the electronic device provides device information of the electronic device within a preset time since the electronic device is coupled to the power supply module. The power supply judgment method of the invention automatically sets signal channel configurations corresponding to different external devices, thereby greatly improving the convenience of use.

  • Publication number: 20230261500
Abstract: A lithium battery charge-limiting apparatus includes a microcontroller, a current detector, and an electronic switch. The current detector detects a consumption current of an electronic apparatus having a lithium battery and informs the microcontroller of the consumption current, so that the microcontroller learns a plurality of the consumption currents. The microcontroller determines a first amount of a plurality of slopes of the consumption currents. If a second amount in the first amount of the slopes of the consumption currents are between a first minus number and zero, and if a next slope of the slopes of the second amount of the consumption currents is greater than a present slope of the slopes of the second amount of the consumption currents, the microcontroller turns off the electronic switch to stop transmitting a charging voltage to the electronic apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20230231104
Abstract: Provided are a precursor solution, and a modified layer and a lithium-based battery prepared by using the same. The modified layer is formed on the negative electrode, the positive electrode and/or the separator of the lithium-based battery by using the precursor solution through photo-polymerization reaction or thermal curing. The lithium-based battery comprising the modified layer effectively promotes the charge and discharge capability, cycling life, and safety. The modified layer can be applied to a roll-to-roll process. The formation of lithium dendrites in the lithium-based battery comprising the modified layer is significantly suppressed or reduced during the charge-discharge cycles. The shuttle effect is effectively suppressed or reduced in lithium sulfur batteries and lithium iodine batteries. All the above effects are beneficial to increasing the product value of lithium ion batteries, lithium metal batteries, anode-free lithium batteries, lithium sulfur batteries, and lithium iodine batteries.

  • Patent number: 11588588
Abstract: Examples pertaining to additional bit freezing for polar coding are described. An apparatus performs polar coding to encode a plurality of input subblocks of information bits, frozen bits and optional cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits to generate a plurality of subblocks of coded bits. The apparatus then transmits at least some of the subblocks of coded bits. In performing the polar coding, the apparatus additionally freezes one of the plurality of input subblocks corresponding to one of the interleaved plurality of subblocks of coded bits which decreases polarization gain due to puncturing.

  • Publication number: 20230013709
Abstract: A cartridge-based computing system includes a display stand that connects to a compute module cartridge including a first securing member, a second securing member, and a release member coupled to the second securing member. The display stand defines a securing aperture that engages the first securing member when the compute module cartridge is connected to the display stand, which causes the first securing member to engage a securing element on the display stand and move it into engagement with the second securing member to connect the compute module cartridge to the display stand. The securing element may then be engaged by the release member to move it out of engagement with the second securing member, and into engagement with the first securing member to cause the securing aperture to disengage the first securing member and disconnect the compute module cartridge from the display stand.
