  • Patent number: 11528035
Abstract: Examples pertaining to bit selection for polar coding incremental-redundancy hybrid automatic repeat request (IR-HARQ) are described. An apparatus (e.g., UE) generates a re-transmission polar code block (CB) in a polar incremental redundancy HARQ (IR-HARQ) procedure. The apparatus then transmits the re-transmission polar CB as a re-transmission of an initial transmission of an initial polar code carrying a plurality of information bits. In generating the re-transmission polar CB, the apparatus selects one or more re-transmission information bits from the plurality of information bits.

  • Patent number: 11498179
Abstract: A direct pose feedback (DPF) control method applied to a DPF controlled machine is provided. The DPF control method includes a pose compensation control in addition to the position feedback control. The pose compensation control includes an initiation step, a reference system step, an actual pose calculation step and a position compensation step. The sum of the primary driving value and the compensation driving value is output to the driver of each of the motors. The advantage of the DPF control method is that the existing real-time position control loop in the controller can remain unchanged, while the pose compensation control is added to eliminate tool pose error resulted from geometric errors in the machine. The DPF controlled machine uses a pose measuring mechanism to measure the actual pose of the tool and to compensate the tool pose error. Hence, the DPF controlled machine is free of geometric errors.

  • Patent number: 11477902
Abstract: A cartridge-based computing system includes a display stand that connects to a compute module cartridge including a first securing member, a second securing member, and a release member coupled to the second securing member. The display stand defines a securing aperture that engages the first securing member when the compute module cartridge is connected to the display stand, which causes the first securing member to engage a securing element on the display stand and move it into engagement with the second securing member to connect the compute module cartridge to the display stand. The securing element may then be engaged by the release member to move it out of engagement with the second securing member, and into engagement with the first securing member to cause the securing aperture to disengage the first securing member and disconnect the compute module cartridge from the display stand.

  • Patent number: 11418207
Abstract: An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) device equipped with a conversion suspension function and an associated operation method thereof are provided. The ADC device includes: an interleaved clock controller, arranged to generate a first clock signal and a second clock signal according to a master clock signal; and a multi-ADC circuit, coupled to the interleaved clock controller, arranged to perform analog-to-digital conversion. The multi-ADC circuit includes a first ADC and a second ADC, wherein the first ADC performs sampling and conversion operations according to the first clock signal, and the second ADC performs sampling and conversion operations according to the second clock signal. Based on the timing control of the first clock signal and the second clock signal, when any ADC of the first ADC and the second ADC is performing a sampling operation, the other ADC of the first ADC and the second ADC suspends conversion.

  • Publication number: 20220045784
Abstract: Examples pertaining to additional bit freezing for polar coding are described. An apparatus performs polar coding to encode a plurality of input subblocks of information bits, frozen bits and optional cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits to generate a plurality of subblocks of coded bits. The apparatus then transmits at least some of the subblocks of coded bits. In performing the polar coding, the apparatus additionally freezes one of the plurality of input subblocks corresponding to one of the interleaved plurality of subblocks of coded bits which decreases polarization gain due to puncturing.
