  • Publication number: 20100270946
Abstract: An electronic candle assembly includes a plurality of electronic simulation candles, a main body supporting the electronic simulation candles, a power supply for supplying power, and a sensor system received in the main body. Each electronic simulating candle includes an illuminating device. The sensor system includes a plurality of sensors, an analog-to-digital convertor, a storage unit, and a processor. The sensors measure the velocity of air current traveling through the illuminating device and outputting the velocity of the air current as an analog electrical signal. The analog-to-digital convertor converts analog electrical signal into a digital signal. The storage unit stores predetermined velocity values and predetermined modes for powering the illuminating device. The processor compares the digital signal with the predetermined velocity and controlling the power supply to power the illuminating device in a predetermined mode.

  • Publication number: 20090141030
Abstract: A system for multilevel simulation of an animation cloth is provided. The system includes a multilevel area generation module, a curvature calculation module, a curvature comparison module, and a dynamic simulation module. The multilevel area generation module divides a plurality of grid units of the animation cloth into a plurality of level sub-areas based on a multilevel technique, wherein each of the level sub-areas is generated by dividing an upper level sub-area. The curvature calculation module calculates the curvatures of the level sub-areas according to the plane vectors of the grid units in a frame. The curvature comparison module compares the curvatures of the level sub-areas with a flatness threshold. The dynamic simulation module calculates the plane vector of each grid unit in a next frame through different method according to the comparison result of the curvature comparison module.

  • Publication number: 20090135187
Abstract: A system and a method for dynamically generating response motions of a virtual character in real time and a computer-readable recording medium thereof are provided. The system includes a balance state module, response graph module, and a tracking control module. The balance state module calculates a balance state of the virtual character according to the balance-related information of a character model of the virtual character. The response graph module is coupled to the balance state module for providing a response motion according to the balance state. The tracking control module is coupled to the response graph module for providing a driving information according to the response motion and a body information of the character model. The driving information is used for driving the character model to converge toward the response motion.

  • Patent number: 7396519
Abstract: A high purity aqueous solution of hydroxylamine product is prepared by treating an aqueous solution of hydroxylammonium salt with a base like ammonia at low temperatures. A novel process can be carried out by separating the ammonium salt side product from hydroxylamine with a low temperature filtration and a resin-exchange process. The concentration of the hydroxylamine product is further improved by a safe distillation process that produces a high purity and high concentration hydroxylamine product with reduced risks of explosion.
