A concept definition is received that defines a concept identifier used for identifying data associated with the concept, and a plurality of discrete stages of the concept. Retrieved data is analyzed to determine if the data corresponds to the concept, and to determine at least one discrete stage of the concept definition that the data corresponds to. The data is stored in association with the concept identifier and the at least one discrete stage to allow for subsequent searching and retrieval. When a search request relating to the concept is received, the data associated with the different stages of the concept can be retrieved and output in a manner to capture the holistic nature of the concept.

The OFPS includes a sensor layer, a wafer-level optic layer bonded to the sensor layer and an infrared pass filter (IRPF) coating formed on a substantially flat top surface of the wafer-level optic layer. An OFPS may be formed with a flat top and may include a wafer-level optic layer having one or more lenses to direct light generated by a light source beneath the wafer-level optic layer. The wafer-level lenses may be bonded with the fingerprint scanner. The flat top of the OFPS may be made with an IRPF coating.

This emission phenomenon is termed supracence and is applied to obtain more information about the structure and properties of a specimen than currently possible with fluorescence imaging techniques. Because supracence originates from chemical bonds, any structure that contains chemical bonds meets the necessary condition to potentially emit supracence. Super spectral resolution images are achieved by selectively exciting a target molecule to suprace without exciting another fluorophore that has absorption and emission rather close to the target.
