    Abstract: A low power dynamic logic circuit. By shifting a discharge NMOS transistor of a conventional dynamic logic circuit between an output terminal and a logic block, plus an additional charge and discharge control, the operation speed and power consumption of a dynamic circuit can be effectively improved. Using the charge redistribution to speed up the circuit operation and to reduce the body effect that affects the operation speed, the speed of the novel dynamic logic circuit is enhanced. By transferring the lump capacitor of the charge/discharge, the dynamic power can be effectively reduced. The lower power dynamic logic circuit can be used independently or combined with a conventionally dynamic logic circuit.

The features of the alloys are that there are five to eleven major metallic elements and with or without minor elements, the minor elements are selected from the element group other than the major metallic elements, the mole fraction of each major metallic element in the alloy is between 5% and 30%, and the mole fraction of each minor element in the alloy is less than 3.5%. The high-entropy multielement alloys in the present invention are high in hardness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance.

    Abstract: A diaphragm for a chemical mechanical polisher is composed of a rubber layer and a fiber layer. The size and shape of the diaphragm are suitably designed according to a gap and relative shifting between the rotary unit and holder to prevent creasing of the diaphragm and thereby decrease friction with a sidewall of the rotary unit and holder. The fibrous layer can improve the strength of the diaphragm in order to improve the lifetime of the diaphragm, reduce the frequency of maintenance of the polisher, and increase throughput.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for preventing particle contamination in a polishing machine that utilizes slurry composition for the removal of material from the surface of a substrate. The novel method is particularly suited for use in a chemical mechanical polishing apparatus in which a slurry composition is used. The method includes the step of providing a plurality of cleaning devices each having a bendable, shapable conduit and a spray nozzle for dispensing a cleaning solvent on the spindle and the conditioner arm utilized in the CMP apparatus. The present invention further discloses an apparatus for use in carrying out a method for preventing particle contamination in a CMP apparatus by using bendable, shapable conduits for dispensing a cleaning solvent such as deionized water onto the chamber components for removing slurry deposits that may have splattered thereon and therefore, eliminating sources for particle contamination.

    Abstract: A method of making a yellow, transparent tempered glass and the product so made that comprises adding a certain quantity of CeO2 and TiO2 to the glass composition prior to a rapid cooling of the composition. Each additive is in the amount of about 1% to 6% and together they produce a yellow color. Also, at the same time, from 1% to 5% of BaO or PbO is added as an additive for enhancing the transparency and refractive index of the glass. The resulting yellow transparent tempered glass is especially suited for use in a reflecting roadstud and used for separating the traffic lanes on roads.
