  • Patent number: 11879872
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a deformation and control simulation test system for a tunnel engineering supporting structure, including a follow-up hoisting platform, actuators, a control system. It is horizontal structure. The follow-up hoisting platform reduces the friction caused by the weight of testing sample and facilitates experimental operations. Each actuator fixed on an annular box body reaction frame can move independently through a control system in form of force control or displacement control mode, and can achieve circumferential contraction loading through its gomphodont configuration. The hinged and curved design of the cushion blocks of actuators can adapt to the circumferential contraction deformation of a test sample and maintain a close fit with them during the loading process.

  • Publication number: 20230069422
Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for controlling airflow is described. The apparatus comprises a wall which delimits a flared bore. The apparatus further comprises at least one air guide member which retractably protrudes into the flared bore from the wall. The flared bore widens to an outlet, thereby to permit a diverging airflow to be expelled therefrom when each of the at least one air guide member is retracted. When the at least one air guide member protrudes into the flared bore, air flowing in the flared bore is guided by a surface, e.g. a concave surface, of the respective air guide member away from the wall and towards the outlet. The retractable air guide member thus enables the direction and/or degree of convergence of the air flowing out of the outlet to be controlled.

A semi-parallel decoding structure is adopted, and meanwhile, a pipeline is added between half layers.

  • Patent number: 10364994
Abstract: The present application relates to an apparatus for purifying and/or humidifying air, and a related method for purifying and/or humidifying air. The apparatus comprises a rotary filter (1), a fan (9, 10) for passing air through the rotary filter (1), and a reservoir (4, 5), and wherein the rotation speed of the rotary filter (1) and the settings of the fan (9, 10) depend on the ambient relative humidity and ambient gas pollutant concentration. The apparatus combines the feature of chemisorption with the use of a rotary filter (1), thereby providing an apparatus which is able to purify air and/or regulate the ambient humidity based on humidity levels and levels of a target gas pollutant in the air. The invention removes the need for a pump for liquid transport, removes the need for frequent and expensive filter changes by the user, and instead only requires the user to periodically refresh the filtration solution in the reservoir (4, 5).

  • Patent number: 10341158
Abstract: A segment-based approach for fast fourier transforms of input signals is provided for the generation of baseband signals. A FFT is performed individually for each of the segments from the input signal and the FFT result from each segment is accumulated to provide a final FFT for an input signal symbol. After the samples are received for one segment, a FFT can be performed to generate an intermediate FFT result while samples for the additional segment(s) are received. The system accumulates the intermediate result from the segments into a final FFT result that can be used to generate the baseband signal. Segment-based processing of an input signal can provide faster and more efficient processing to generate a baseband signal. Segment-based processing can also decrease the required size of the input buffers for antennas.

  • Patent number: 10324688
Abstract: An embodiment of a system and method for performing a numerical operation on input data in a hybrid floating-point format includes representing input data as a sign bit, exponent bits, and mantissa bits. The exponent bits are represented as an unsigned integer including an exponent bias, and a signed numerical value of zero is represented as a first reserved combination of the mantissa bits and the exponent bits. Each of all other combinations of the mantissa bits and the exponent bits represents a real finite non-zero number. The mantissa bits are operated on with a “one” bit before a radix point for the all other combinations of the mantissa bits and the exponent bits.
