As a catalyst carrier, the rate of conversion of the hydrodesulfurization reaction of the material reaches as high as 98 percent, and as a lithium ion battery cathode material, the specific capacity of the lithium ion battery cathode material reaches as high as 220 mAh/g.

    Abstract: A perpendicular magnetic recording writer is disclosed with a side shield separated from a write pole side by a gap layer at an air bearing surface (ABS) where the side shield has a first sidewall facing the write pole with an end at height (h1) from the ABS, and a second sidewall at height h1 that is parallel to the ABS. The write pole side is curved such that a first portion proximate to the ABS is at an angle of 0 to 40 degrees with respect to a center plane formed orthogonal to the ABS, and a second section proximate to a corner where the curved side connects with a flared main pole side is formed substantially parallel to the second sidewall. When h1 is 30-80 nm, and the corner is 80-150 nm from the ABS, overwrite is improved while cross-track field gradient is enhanced.

The parameters include a total data size to be processed, a size of each data record, and a number of map requests executing simultaneously. The computer determines a cache size for processing the map request, wherein the cache size is determined based on the received parameters for processing the map request and a machine learning model for a map request cache size and reads, based on the determined cache size, data from the one or more storage medium of the distributed file system into the cache. The computer processes the map request and writes an intermediate result data of the map request processing into the cache, based on the determined cache size.

    Abstract: An entity summarization system is described herein that mines the Internet and other data source to provide answers to questions such as the relative sentiment of users towards various brands. The system uses a controlled vocabulary list describing a specific aspect of entities of interest. Given an entity name, the system scans the whole content corpus to collect statistics on the words that occur most frequently in the context of the entity name, taking into account proximity information, to produce a weighted list of vocabulary terms describing the entity. Two entities can be compared by normalizing and comparing their weighted term lists. In some embodiments, the system performs these procedures efficiently by leveraging an N-gram web model. Thus, the system provides an automated way to compare two entities to derive information about how users feel about the entities at any given time.
