  • Patent number: 7685481
Abstract: A system and method for defect analysis are disclosed wherein a defect data set is input into the system. A radius value is selected by a user, which is the maximum number of bits that bit failures can be separated from one another to be considered a bit cluster. When a defect data set is received, the system and method start with a fail bit and search for neighboring fail bits. The specified radius is used to qualify the found fail bits to be part of the bit cluster or not. If a minimum count of fail bits is not met, the system and method will stop searching and move to the next fail bit. If a minimum count of fail bits is met, the search continues for the next fail bit until the maximum fail bit count specified by the user is reached. Aggregation is provided such that once bit clusters have been classified, the number of clusters that have the exact match or partial match to each other is counted. The user may set the partial match as a threshold count to establish a match.

  • Publication number: 20100068778
Abstract: The invention provides a process for co-producing ethanol and Radix Puerariae flavones and utilizing Radix Puerariae fibers from Radix Puerariae by way of clean solid state fermentation, and the device used therein. The process comprises the following steps: providing Radix Puerariae as raw material; pretreating the Radix Puerariae raw material by steam explosion; producing and separating ethanol by continuous coupled solid state fermentation; filtering off fermentation residues; and extracting and purifying Radix Puerariae flavones from the filtrate. The process achieves an effective and comprehensive utilization of Radix Puerariae.

  • Publication number: 20090246847
Abstract: A method for producing ethanol from steam-exploded sweet potato by fermentation includes subjecting sweet potato to a steam explosion treatment, subjecting the sweet potato after the steam explosion to saccharification and fermentation, and collecting ethanol produced by the fermentation. The sweet potato can optionally be subjected to a pre-treatment utilizing a short-time, low-pressure steam explosion technology, which omits the long-time cooking process for the starch-based raw material and reduces the energy consumption for producing ethanol by fermentation.

  • Publication number: 20090086727
Abstract: Intelligent routing may be provided. First, a second peer via home relay may receive presence information indicating that a first peer is connected to a first foreign relay. Then the second peer may update, in response to the presence information, a routing table to indicate that a primary place to send data to the first peer is the first foreign relay. Next, the second peer may determine from the routing table that the primary place to send the data to the first peer is the first foreign relay. Next, the home relay may receive a request from a second peer to send data to the first peer via the first foreign relay. Then, in response to determining from the routing table that the primary place to send the data to the first peer is the first foreign relay, the data may be sent to the first foreign relay.

  • Publication number: 20080281566
Abstract: A system and method for yield management are disclosed wherein a data set containing one or more prediction variable values and one or more response variable values is input into the system. The system can process the input data set to remove prediction variables with missing values and data sets with missing values based on a tiered splitting method to maximize usage of all valid data points. The processed data can then be used to generate a model that may be a decision tree. The system can accept user input to modify the generated model. Once the model is complete, one or more statistical analysis tools can be used to analyze the data and generate a list of the key yield factors for the particular data set.

  • Patent number: 7363342
Abstract: An API development framework uses a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) protocol to provide access to a collaborative client from a remote user that does not have access to the collaborative software. A WSAP server acts as a bridge between the native collaborative environment and any non-native environment or application that can process SOAP commands and allows the two entities to communicate regardless of firewalls and other security software. The non-native environment can be either local (on the same machine as the collaborative client program) or physically remote (on a different machine). In addition to the server, the illustrative framework includes client side support that is comprised of a SOAP proxy component and remote interfaces to collaborative system objects and platform tools.

  • Publication number: 20070276900
Abstract: Described herein is technology for, among other things, global provisioning of a service. The technology involves a provisioning server obtaining location information for a client. The provisioning server determines an appropriate deployment unit, based on the location information, to which the client will be assigned. The provisioning server transmits assignment information for the appropriate deployment unit to the client. The client then communicatively couples to the assigned deployment unit and begins receiving the service from the deployment unit.

  • Publication number: 20060200538
Abstract: A system and method for upgrading remote control application resident on a device. To this end, a markup language file is created. The markup language file has a representation of information used to setup the remote control application to communicate with an appliance. The markup language file may be executed, on the device or an intermediate client with which the device is synchronized, to upload the representation of the information to a remote server. At the remote server, the uploaded information is used to automatically display user-selectable, downloadable data files relevant to the control of the appliance. Downloaded data files, which may include command codes and/or graphical user interface elements, may be used within the device to upgrade the ability of the remote control application to communicate with the appliance. The information uploaded to the server may also be used to generate demographic data regarding consumer preferences.

  • Patent number: 6768961
Abstract: A system and method for analyzing error information from a semiconductor fabrication process. The system receives wafer map data describing a plurality of failing chips on a particular semiconductor wafer. The system utilizes the wafer map data to classify each of the failing chips into one of several error categories, such systematic errors, repeated or reticle errors, and random errors. The system further partitions the systematic errors into spatial clusters, which may be compared against a known library of spatial error patterns for identifying the origins of the systematic errors.
