  • Publication number: 20260300746
Abstract: Techniques for fine-tuning of Large Language Models are disclosed. A system receives a pre-trained Large Language Model (LLM) with a set of model parameters from data source. The system also obtains a supervised fine-tuning dataset corresponding to the received pre-trained LLM from the data source. Further, the system selects a grouping strategy for the determined supervised fine-tuning dataset and assigns an importance label to each token in the determined supervised fine-tuning dataset based on the selected grouping strategy. The system further computes a first loss value, a second loss value and a third loss value. The system computes a compute a group-optimization loss value as a weighted combination of the first loss value, the second loss value and the third loss value. Consequently, the system fine-tune the pre-trained LLM by updating the set of model parameters of the pre-trained LLM based on the group optimization loss value.
