  • Patent number: 7288003
Abstract: A socket device is installed on a circuit board of an electronic product and includes an insulating housing formed with a contained space for containing an electronic component, a plurality of terminals installed in the contained space, and a holding casing covered around the insulating housing. The insulating housing has at least one horizontal penetrating groove formed at two sides thereof. The terminals are electrically connected with the electronic component. The holding casing forms at least one elastic arm at its two sides, respectively. Each elastic arm forms a pressing portion from a top edge thereof to the contained space for pressing the electrical component, and a guiding portion transversely extended from a free end thereof to the contained space. Each guiding portion is slidably contained in the penetrating groove. Therefore, it can prevent the elastic arm twisted outwardly and the socket device from deforming during the assembly process.

  • Patent number: 7285605
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a batch process for synthesizing rubbery polymers, such as styrene-butadiene rubber, having a high trans microstructure. In one embodiment, the batch process involves mixing a catalyst system with styrene and butadiene monomers in a single reactor, with additional butadiene monomer being added after a desired period of time to further drive styrene conversion and, thus, provide a desirable high trans rubbery polymer, e.g., styrene-butadiene rubber. The copolymerization process can be conducted at a temperature in the range of about 20° C. to about 180° and over a period of about 1 to about 4 hours. The catalyst system can include (a) an organolithium compound, (b) a group IIa metal salt, and (c) an organoaluminum compound. The catalyst system may further optionally include an amine compound and/or an organomagnesium compound.

  • Patent number: 7242812
Abstract: A novel method for coding and decoding video data and codec thereof are disclosed. The invented method provides an FGS (fine grained scalability) algorithm using bit plane coding technique. While conducting the bit plane encoding, the spatial and temporal dependence between bit planes is used to exploit the redundancy in the bit planes. In the embodiment of this invention, the bit plains are represented by quadtrees and bit plane prediction is made to remove the spatial and temporal redundancy in a video. The scalability of the video data is fine grained since atoms of the motion residuals do not have to be grouped as coding units.

  • Publication number: 20070151675
Abstract: A blind body collecting-expanding control device for window blinds comprises a head rail, a bottom rail, a cord-winding control device, a transmission assembly, and a blind body wherein the head rail has an accommodating channel defining one end thereon to receive the cord-winding control device therein. The cord-winding control device links in movement to the transmission assembly composed of support seats, a winding shaft, lift cords, an operational cord, and a sliding element so that the blind body can be easily actuated thereby to collect upwards or expand downwards in operation. Via the aforementioned structure, the pushing or pulling force exerted by hands reciprocally interacts with the cord-winding control device so that a user can freely adjust the blind body into a desirable position, achieving the best adjustment effect as well as easy and speedy assembly thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070125505
Abstract: A non-pull cord operated window blind structure comprises a head rail with a blind body attached to the underside and actuated by a collecting cord wherein a cord-winding control device actuated by an operating cord, and a fixed seat are respectively mounted at both ends of the head rail with a movable seat situated there-between. One end of the operating cord is attached to the movable seat, and both ends of the collecting cord are synchronically wound through the fixed seat and the movable seat and located at the fixed seat, permitting the operating cord and the collecting cord to associate with each other in linking operation. Therefore, a bottom rail is simply pushed or pulled by hands to loosen or tighten the collecting cord and actuate the operating cord therewith, permitting a state of counterbalance formed there-between for easy adjustment of the blind body into a desirable position thereby.
