    Abstract: An electrical connector includes a body having an accommodating hole. The body has a protruding block and a platform protruding into the accommodating hole. The platform is located below the protruding block. A conductive terminal is accommodated in the accommodating hole. The conductive terminal has a base, which bends to form an accommodating space to accommodate the protruding block. The base has a through slot, and first and second branches located at two sides of the through slot. A lower section of the first branch is limited between the first protruding block and the platform. A method for manufacturing the electrical connector includes inserting the conductive terminal with the accommodating space opening upward into the accommodating hole by the strip, and rotating the conductive terminal with the protruding block as an axis, until the lower section of the first branch is located between the platform and the first protruding block.

Two side walls are located at two sides of the insertion slot. A slot bottom surface is formed on a concave direction of the insertion slot. One of the side walls is provided with aground accommodating slot and a signal accommodating slot. A signal terminal and a ground terminal are provided on the one of the side walls. The signal terminal is accommodated in the signal accommodating slot. The ground terminal is accommodated in the ground accommodating slot. A side of the insulating plug member has a first portion corresponding to the signal accommodating slot and a second portion corresponding to the ground accommodating slot. The first portion is accommodated in the signal accommodating slot and is provided closer to the mating surface than the slot bottom surface.

An acting force by the first elastic arm counteracts a supporting force by the circuit board, preventing the insulating body from deformation.

The locking arm includes at least one first position limiting portion and a second position limiting portion in front of the buckling portion. In a separation process of the first and second connectors, the locking arm is actuated, the buckling portion is detached from the latch portion and moves backward, and the latch portion firstly stops the first position limiting portion. After the latch portion is detached from the first position limiting portion, the latch portion stops the second position limiting portion from moving backward.
