  • Publication number: 20050050080
Abstract: A method for flexibly configuring default values of a network device through an EEPROM interface is disclosed. A header is received from an EEPROM through the EEPROM interface and it is determined from the header whether any default value of the network device should be updated, and if any, how many should be updated. At least one configuration instruction is fetched from the EEPROM when it is determined that the network device should be updated.

  • Publication number: 20040215843
Abstract: A method for flexibly configuring default values of a network device and a network device using such flexible configuration method is described. First, it is determined whether the default values are obtained through a microprocessor interface or a memory interface. When it is determined that the default values are obtained through the memory interface, a header is received from a memory through the memory interface it is determined from the header whether any default value of the network device should be updated. If the network device should be updated, then at least one configuration instruction is fetched from the memory and the at least one configuration instruction is interpreted. A register default value of the default values is changed, corresponding to the interpreted at least one configuration instruction.

  • Patent number: 6634957
Abstract: A golf club has a weight member provided between a shaft and a head thereof. The weight member is optionally made of materials with high density, and has a weight substantially equal to a weight of a standard head of a conventional golf club minus the weight of the head of the golf club of the invention. Thus, the weight of the head is less than the standard head of the conventional golf club and the whole weight of the golf club is equal to the conventional golf club, so that the twisting force applied to the head of the golf club is lessened, and the stability of the golf club is improved.

  • Patent number: 6620053
Abstract: A golf club with high accuracy in driving a golf ball is disclosed. The golf club includes a tapered hollow shaft having a thin end and a thick end, with a weight received in the hollow shaft. A head is formed with a neck that defines a stepped hole for fixedly receiving the thin end of the shaft. Importantly, the head is made less heavy than a related standard by an amount equivalent to the weight in the hollow shaft, and so the golf club has the same gross weight as a normal club.

  • Publication number: 20020137575
Abstract: A golf club has a shaft, a connecting pin, a pin and a nut. One end of the connecting pin is securely inserted into the shaft, the other end of the connecting pin is threaded and is exposed from the shaft. The head is mounted on the shaft and has a neck with a passage for the shaft inserting into the passage in the neck. A baffle formed in the passage in the neck and has a through hole for the connecting pin extending through the through hole. The nut is screwed with the thread on the connecting pin and abuts the baffle. Consequently, the head is securely attached to the shaft with the connecting pin and the nut. With such an arrangement, the head is adjustable relative to the shaft prior to an adhesion process.
