    Abstract: An immersion cooling system includes a pressure seal tank, an electronic apparatus, a pressure balance pipe and a relief valve. The pressure seal tank is configured to store coolant. A vapor space is formed in the pressure seal tank above the liquid level of the coolant. The electronic apparatus is completely immersed in the coolant. The pressure balance pipe has a gas collection length. The first port of the pressure balance pipe is disposed on the top surface of the pressure seal tank. The relief valve is disposed on the second port of the pressure balance pipe. The second port is farther away from the top surface of the pressure seal tank than the first port. The gas collection length of the pressure equalization tube allows the concentration of vaporized coolant at the first port to be greater than the concentration of vaporized coolant at the second port.

    Abstract: A method and system for using an image sensor to control applications on a mobile device is disclosed. The system uses image processing to detect control gestures by the user. Control gestures may include, for example, moving a hand laterally, moving the hand closer or farther away from the camera, or opening and closing a hand. These control motions are linked to user commands to be executed by the application being controlled. The system initializes by storing a background image showing the field of view of the image sensor before any objects are present. It then detects new objects in the field of view by comparing new images to the background image. If a new object is detected, the system waits until the object is stationary in the field of view. After the object is stationary, the system detects if there is a change in the object indicating a control gesture.

    Abstract: A method for making a 3D photonic crystal includes: (a) preparing a liquid mixture including a solvent component, a particulate material suspended in the solvent component, and a filler suspended or dissolved in the solvent component, with the proviso that, when the filler is suspended in the solvent component, the filler has an average size smaller than an average size of the particulate material; (b) allowing a 3D photonic structure to grow from the liquid mixture; and (c) removing liquid from the 3D photonic structure. The method can further include (d) removing the particulate material from the 3D photonic structure after the step (c). In this case, the particulate material and the filler are made of different materials.

The abrasive assemblies move linearly and reciprocatorily in a plane parallel to an X-Y plane and are rotatably mounted on the bottom end of the rotating assembly. The driving assemblies are respectively connected to and drive the abrasive assemblies to rotate. The reciprocating assemblies are mounted securely on the rotating assembly to linearly and reciprocatorily drive the abrasive assemblies in a plane parallel to the X-Y plane.
