  • Publication number: 20070179021
Abstract: A training ball includes a ball body having an overall outer ball surface, and two first and second ball halves which cooperatively define the overall outer ball surface and which are divided by a first imaginary plane that substantially passes through a center of the ball body. At least one of the first and second ball halves has an indented surface region extending inwardly of the overall outer ball surface, and a grip unit which spans the indented surface region. The grip unit has an inner grip surface facing and spaced apart from the indented surface region, and an outer grip surface opposite to the inner grip surface and forming a part of the overall outer ball surface. The inner grip surface and the indented surface region define therebetween a space adapted for extension of fingers of hands thereinto.

  • Publication number: 20020198085
Abstract: A punching bag assembly includes an inflatable bladder unit, a skin layer covering the bladder unit, and a connecting unit. The connecting unit includes an anchoring block, at least a portion of which is buried between the bladder unit and the skin layer, and a fastening member having a head portion embedded in the anchoring block. The fastening member further has a threaded shank portion with a first end section connected to the head portion and a second end section projecting from the anchoring block so as to be disposed outwardly relative to the skin layer.

  • Publication number: 20020094917
Abstract: A punching bag assembly includes an inflatable bladder, a winding layer wound around the bladder, an intermediate resilient layer covering the winding layer, a mounting block, and a skin layer. The mounting block has an anchoring flange attached to the intermediate resilient layer, and a mounting projection projecting from the anchoring flange and formed with a mounting hole. The skin layer is formed over the intermediate resilient layer and the anchoring flange such that the anchoring flange is buried between the intermediate resilient layer and the skin layer and such that the mounting projection projects relative to the skin layer to permit access to the mounting hole.

  • Patent number: 5669702
Abstract: An inflatable article includes a rounded wall that encloses a first space. An illuminating device is mounted inside the rounded wall and occupies a portion of the first space. The device includes a base bonded sealingly and integrally to the rounded wall. The base confines a second space hermetically sealed from a remaining portion of the first space, and has a part exposed from the rounded wall and an opening for access to the second space. A light emitting element is disposed interiorly of the opening. A power source has a negative electrode proximate to the opening and a positive electrode connected to a first terminal of the light emitting element. A conductive member extends axially and outwardly of the power source and is connected to a second terminal of the light emitting element. A conductive cap closes the opening and is movable between a conducting position and a non-conducting position.
