    Abstract: A display device, including a first polarizing film, a pixel array module, a second polarizing film, and a first electronically controlled phase retardation module, is provided. The pixel array module is disposed in overlap with the first polarizing film. The second polarizing film is disposed in overlap with the pixel array module. The first electronically controlled phase retardation module includes a first liquid crystal layer, two first alignment layers, and two first conductive layers. The first liquid crystal layer and the first alignment layers are disposed between the first conductive layers. The second polarizing film is located between the pixel array module and the first electronically controlled phase retardation module. One of the first polarizing film and the second polarizing film directly contacts one of the first conductive layers of the first electronically controlled phase retardation module. The display device has a switchable viewing angle and is thinner and lighter.

The polarizing layer is located on a side of the light-emitting layer away from the circuit substrate. The quarter waveplate is disposed between the polarizing layer and the light-emitting layer and overlaps the light-emitting layer and the polarizing layer. The bandpass polarizing reflective layer is disposed between the quarter waveplate and the light-emitting layer and includes a first bandpass polarizing reflective pattern overlapping the first light-emitting structures. A reflectance of the bandpass polarizing reflective pattern for light with a wavelength in a first wavelength range is greater than 20%. The first wavelength range is the peak emission wavelength ±10 nm.

    Abstract: A viewing angle limiting device, including a polymer substrate and a plurality of dye molecules, is provided. The dye molecules are dispersedly arranged in the polymer substrate. The dye molecules have a first absorption coefficient in a thickness direction of the polymer substrate. The dye molecules have a second absorption coefficient in a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction. A ratio of the first absorption coefficient to the second absorption coefficient is between 10 and 1000. A manufacturing method of the viewing angle limiting device and a display device including the viewing angle limiting device are also provided. The display device, the viewing angle limiting device, and the manufacturing method thereof provided by the invention have a large viewing angle filtering effect and have higher light transmittance in a viewing angle direction.

The first light distribution pattern has a light intensity exceeding a predetermined value within a first view angle range in a first direction. When the switchable single-axis diffuser is switched to a transparent mode, the emitting light passes through the switchable single-axis diffuser and maintains the first light distribution pattern. When the switchable single-axis diffuser is switched to a diffusion mode, the emitting light passes through the switchable single-axis diffuser and converts to a second light distribution pattern having the luminous intensity exceeding the predetermined value within a range of a second view angle in a first direction. The second view angle range is larger than the first view angle range.
