  • Publication number: 20070040290
Abstract: A dehumidifying device includes a casing that is divided into a dehumidification section and a regeneration section. A moisture-absorptive device made of fibrous material and pre-impregnated with liquid moisture-absorptive agent, is arranged inside the casing and extending between the dehumidification section and the regeneration section. A heater is disposed in an inlet port of regeneration section. When a wet airflow traveling along the dehumidification section passes through the moisture-absorptive device, the moisture is absorbed by the moisture-absorptive device and then spread into the regeneration section due to siphon effect caused by surface tension induced on the fibrous material. The moisture is then removed by an airflow traveling along the regeneration section and heated by the heater to complete the dehumidification operation.

  • Publication number: 20060250098
Abstract: A brake system and method for a direct current brushed motor without a Hall sensor are provided. After the system is activated, the motor is pre-braked in order to detect and record the stationary armature current while the motor is in a stationary state. As the motor is required to be braked, a reverse control voltage is generated and then the armature current value is detected. When the detected armature current value is equal to the stationary armature current value, the operation of braking the DC brush motor is accomplished. The invention can achieve the goal of braking the motor to a stop quickly, no matter which state the motor is in. Besides, it can be applied to different kinds of motors.

  • Patent number: 7122342
Abstract: The present invention relates to polynucleotide and polypeptide molecules for PAR4, a novel member of the protease-activated receptor family. The polypeptides, and polynucleotides encoding them, mediate biological responses and/or cellular signaling in response to proteases. Protease cleavage of PAR4 exposes a PAR4 extracellular amino terminal portion that serves as a ligand for the PAR4 receptor. PAR4 may be used as a target in drug screening, and further used to identify proteinaceous or non-proteinaceous PAR4 agonists and antagonists. The present invention also includes antibodies to the PAR4 polypeptides.
