  • Patent number: 6480794
Abstract: To allocate products for machines on a manufacturing line, provide a standard test time. Minimize total test time with respect to production scheduling. Form a supply demand matrix table for products and machines for product allocation. Find the grid location with minimum testing time. Provide maximum time allocation from a machine at the corresponding position on the matrix table. Determine the grid location with the next minimum testing time. Loop back to provide a maximum allocation of remaining time from the corresponding machine and repeat looping back until no demand is left. Find need for an optimum testing process by testing whether only one machine can test the product and no quantity is allocated to a machine. If YES branch to calculate utilization per machine. If NO, decide whether NCOL+NLIN−1=NVB. If YES perform optimum testing. If NO, branch to calculate machine utilization per machine.

  • Patent number: 6436400
Abstract: The present invention relates to polynucleotide and polypeptide molecules for PAR4, a novel member of the protease-activated receptor family. The polypeptides, and polynucleotides encoding them, mediate biological responses and/or cellular signaling in response to proteases. Protease cleavage of PAR4 exposes a PAR4 extracellular amino terminal portion that serves as a ligand for the PAR4 receptor. PAR4 may be used as a target in drug screening, and further used to identify proteinaceous or non-proteinaceous PAR4 agonists and antagonists. The present invention also includes antibodies to the PAR4 polypeptides.

  • Publication number: 20020066592
Abstract: The present invention proposes a BGA package capable of increasing heat-spreading effect and preventing EMI. The BGA package of the present invention comprises a BGA substrate with a conductive ring formed on the periphery thereof. The BGA substrate has a metal layer electrically connected to the conductive ring. At least an IC chip is arranged on the BGA substrate. A cap capable of conducting both electricity and heat covers over the chip. The periphery of the cap is sealed with the conductive ring. Raise parts formed in the cap contacts with the chip to conduct heat out. Moreover, the cap, the conductive ring, and the metal layer can form a shield of EMI for the chip.

  • Patent number: 6356797
Abstract: A method for automatic scheduling of a production plan. The automatic scheduling system arranges different kinds of production plans and defines a first priority lot, a second priority lot and a normal lot in testing factories. The testing processes of the first priority lot is to decide the testing machine first, then exchanged with a running lot on this testing machine when a test piece is completed. For the second priority lot, after decides the testing machine, the second priority lot is exchanged with a running lot on the testing machine when the running lot is completed. For the normal lot, the procedure is to check if the testing machine is available and need to be setup, then use a setup reduce method to reduce the setup frequency if more than one machine is available and needs to be setup. The key to reduce setup method selects the testing machine which has minimum impact for the subsequent testing lot to get efficient use of the testing machine.

  • Patent number: 6189590
Abstract: An improved disk label sticking device includes an annular label bearing seat configured to have a lower side pressing against elastic elements on a movable base below. The edges of the label-bearing seat are formed with guide flanges extending into slanting guide slots of a base. Furthermore, the label-bearing seat is centrally provided with a circular through hole having guide slots or guide tracks on its edges. A circular receiving seat has a guide track or guide groove that matches the circular through hole and presses against a central elastic element on the lower base. The receiving seat can be slidably inserted into the through hole. An adhesive-backed annular label can be placed reversely on the label-bearing seat, and a compact disk or an optical disk can be placed reversely on the receiving seat. When the receiving seat is pressed to displace downwardly, the disk will adhere to the label.

  • Patent number: 5903645
Abstract: A clamping device for mobile phones includes a fork-shaped link pivotally connected to a clamp seat at either end. Each clamp seat has a lateral side provided with slanting rack teeth. An elastic securing seat is disposed adjacent to the rack teeth and has stop elements for projecting into the rack teeth to force the clamp seats to displace only inwardly to be positioned in place. The securing seat further has slanting notches at its ends. A press rod provided with corresponding slanting notches is passed through the notches of the securing seat. By pressing the press rod, the securing seat is urged to displace rearwardly, bring the stop elements to disengage from the rack teeth. Due to the action of compression springs, the clamp seats are caused to instantly extend to clamp mobile phones of various sizes and types.
