    Abstract: A device for managing an HDD backplane includes a mainboard and a backplane. The mainboard includes a first connector port and a second connector. The backplane includes a first HDD interface, a second HDD interface, an I2C selector, and a CPLD. The first and second HDD interfaces are both electrically connected to the CPLD. The first and second connector ports are both electrically connected to the I2C selector. The I2C selector is electrically connected to the CPLD. The CPLD receives an identification signal from the first HDD interface or the second HDD interface, and determines a type of HDD inserted in the first HDD interface or in the second HDD interface, and outputs a controlling signal to the I2C selector according to the type of HDD which is identified. The I2C selector turns on the first connector port and the second connector port according to the controlling signal.

The locking assembly includes a wheel mount latch adapted to engage and rotationally lock the wheel mount relative to the standing frame, and to disengage and unlock the wheel mount. The release mechanism includes an operating part carried with the handle frame and is configured so that the operating part is operable to cause the wheel mount latch to disengage the wheel mount when the handle frame is in the first position, the operating part being operatively decoupled from the wheel mount latch when the handle frame is in the second position.

The operating component is partially embedded in and partially exposed out of the second buckle component. The operating component is slidable relative to the second buckle component. The operating component drives the locking portion to move away from the locked portion for disengaging the locking portion from the locked portion during a sliding movement of the operating component relative to the second buckle component. The present invention has advantage of saving labor and easy operation.

    Abstract: Various arrangements for performing vector-matrix multiplication are provided here. Digital input vectors that include binary-encoded values can be converted into a plurality of analog signals using a plurality of one-bit digital to analog converters (DACs). Using an analog vector matrix multiplier, a vector-matrix multiplication operation can be performed using a weighting matrix for each bit-order of the plurality of analog signals. For each performed vector-matrix multiplication operation, a bit-ordered indication of an output of the analog vector matrix multiplier may be stored. A bit-order weighted summation of the sequentially performed vector-matrix multiplication operation may be performed.

The memory circuit also includes a first circuit that removes a common signal component from the reference signal and from the data signal, along with a second circuit that adjusts the reference signal to be between a logic 1 signal level and a logic 0 signal level. The memory circuit also includes a sense amplifier that determines whether the data signal represents a logic 1 or a logic 0 using the reference signal after the common signal component is removed and after being adjusted, along with the data signal after having the common signal component removed.

    Abstract: A screwless mounting assembly mounts an expansion card in a server. The screwless mounting assembly includes a tray, a flexible bracket, and a mounting member. The tray defines a positioning hole. The bracket includes a number of pegs for mounting the expansion card to the bracket. The mounting member includes a spring pin for mounting the bracket to the tray. When the bracket mounts the expansion card, the bracket is placed on a predetermined location on the tray, and the mounting member is slid along a first direction until the spring pin is aligned with the positioning hole and is received within the positioning hole to mount the bracket to the tray. The spring pin is pulled out of the positioning hole, and the mounting member is slid along a second direction to remove the bracket from the tray.

    Abstract: A device with shock-absorbing qualities for fixing a hard disk in place on a chassis includes two brackets, a plurality of shock-absorbing cushions, and a plurality of first fasteners is described. The brackets located at opposite sides of a hard disk and the side surface of the bracket define a plurality of circular through holes with notches or cutaways continuing to the outer edge of the side surface. The cushions can be locked in the circular through holes after being introduced through the notches whilst sleeving the first fasteners. Two support portions are bent from ends of each bracket to support the hard disk in place.
