Abstract: A monitor and control system includes a server model, a number of switches, a temperature sensor mounted in the server model, a monitor and control device, and a microcontroller. The switches are connected to the resistors to control current through the resistors. The temperature sensor is mounted in the server model. The monitor and control device is connected to the server model and configured to monitor and control the server model. The microcontroller is configured to switch the switches on and off and send temperature information sensed by the temperature sensor to the monitor and control device.

Abstract: In a server management method, a blade server system including a plurality of blade servers is connected to a monitor device in series. The monitor device sends a command to the server system to control the plurality of blade servers. The plurality of blade servers responds to the command. The monitor device receives information from the server system to monitor and control the plurality of blade servers. A server monitor system associated with the server monitor method is also disclosed.

Abstract: System and method for improving immersion scanner overlay performance are described. One embodiment is a method of improving overlay performance of an photolithography immersion scanner including a wafer table having lens cooling water (“LCW”) disposed in a water channel therein, the wafer table having an input for receiving the LCW into the water channel and an output for expelling the LCW from the water channel. The method includes providing a water tank that connects to at least one of the wafer table input and the wafer table output; monitoring a pressure of water in the water tank; and maintaining the pressure of the water in the water tank at a predetermined level.

Abstract: This invention relates to a luminous decoration strip which essentially comprises a main housing having a light emitting module disposed therein. The light emitting module includes a LED luminant, a control circuit and a power supply unit. A light guide sheet having reflecting stripes provided thereon is attached to the main housing such that the light emitted from the LED luminant is directed onto the reflecting stripes. The reflecting stripes reflect the light on both surfaces of the light guide sheet in such a manner that diversified luminous patters can be produced. In this way, the luminous decoration strip can be used in various fields, such as hand decoration, head ornaments, or diversified character patterns for advertising purpose etc.

Abstract: A piston-type breast pump includes a piston-type pumping device, a DC motor, a gear reducer, and a control circuit board arranged in a housing. A gears rocking block (12) is connected with the piston-type pumping device, and far-near points induction chips and a buffering spring are provided between the block (12) and the reducer. A journey induction wheel is arranged at the motor shaft. A speed adjustment knob (35), a journey adjustment knob (34), a fast suck galactagogue button (33), and a suction adjustment screw are provided at the outer surface of the housing. The main body of the breast pump is a vertical design, and is constructed with a recessed bottle location (37), and the bottle holder (36) is removable.

Abstract: A circuit board system for connecting with at least an expansion card that includes a Programmable Logic Device (PLD) electrically coupled to the expansion slot. The PLD is configured to detect whether the expansion card is compatible with the circuit board system. If the PLD detects that the expansion card is not compatible with the circuit board system, the logic controller cuts off the connection between the main power supply and the expansion slot.

Abstract: Methods are provided for repairing a vane assembly, where the vane assembly includes an inner annular housing, an outer annular housing, and a vane extending therebetween. In one embodiment, the method includes removing an identified section of the vane to thereby form a pocket in an inner surface of the outer annular housing, a slot through the inner annular housing, and an edge on the vane, inserting a replacement vane portion with an advanced coating through the formed slot such that a first edge of the replacement vane portion is disposed in the pocket and at least a portion of the first edge is spaced apart from at least a portion of the outer annular housing inner surface, and welding a section of the replacement vane portion to the annular inner annular housing. The repaired vane assembly is also provided.

Abstract: A caster includes a housing, a rotating member, and a caster. The housing defines an accommodation space having an open bottom end. The rotating member is disposed within the housing, and is rotatable between first and second angular positions. The caster is co-rotatable with the rotating member. One of the housing and the rotating member has first and second engaging portions. The other one of the housing and the rotating member has a third engaging portion, which engages the first engaging portion so that the caster is unfolded and disposed outwardly of the housing when the rotating member is at the first angular position and which engages the second engaging portion so that the caster is folded and disposed at a folded position and within the accommodation space when the rotating member is at the second angular position.

Abstract: An LED light source device with color temperature adjustment capability includes at least one light-emitting diode and a color temperature conversion element. A front end of the light-emitting diode has a light-emitting end. The color temperature conversion element is disposed in front of the light-emitting end of the light-emitting diode. The color temperature conversion element includes a light-transmitting substrate and color temperature conversion materials. The color temperature conversion materials are provided on/in the light-transmitting substrate. The color temperature conversion materials include high refractive index materials and low refractive index materials. The high refractive index materials that are selected from the group consisting of TiO2, Ti3O5 or Ta2O5. The low refractive index materials that are selected from the group consisting of SiO2 or MgF2. The light beam emitted by the light-emitting diode passes through the color temperature conversion element to change its color temperature.

Abstract: When a safety belt storage assembly's storage is mounted to a main body of a child seat, the storage of the safety belt storage assembly may be selectively configured between an opened state and a closed state. When the storage of the safety belt storage assembly is configured at the opened state, a safety belt set stored within the housing can be taken out and further used to fasten the child seat to an adult chair. The opened state storage further prevents the child seat from mounting on a frame body. When the safety belt set is stored in the housing, the storage of the safety belt storage assembly can be configured to the closed state and the child seat is allowed to be mounted to the frame body.

Abstract: A testing method for a fan module is provided. When the fan module is tested, a testing computer sends a testing command to a testing device first. Then, the testing device respond to the testing command and controls the fan module to work in a plurality of rotational speed modes in sequence. The testing device reads an actual rotational speed when the fan module works in one of the rotational speed modes and sends the actual rotational speed back to the testing computer. The testing computer compares the actual rotational speed with a corresponding reference rotational speed value stored in the testing computer, and determines the testing result. Finally, the testing result is shown.

Abstract: Methods are provided for repairing a damaged section of an air-cooled turbine blade, the blade having a first wall, a second wall, a trailing edge, and a plurality of cooling holes, the plenum formed between the first and second walls and having a predetermined shape, and the plurality of cooling holes formed on the trailing edge in flow communication with the plenum and having predetermined shapes. In one embodiment, and by way of example only, the method includes the steps of injecting a filler material into the blade plenum and the plurality of blade cooling holes, the filler material capable of solidifying into the predetermined shapes of the blade plenum and blade cooling holes. Then, the damaged section of the blade is laser welded and machined to original dimensions. Next, the filler material is removed.

Abstract: A method for processing substrates to manufacture semiconductor structures thereon includes analyzing at least one first processing parameter of a first apparatus for processing a substrate, thereby yielding at least one first throughput rate of the first apparatus. At least one second processing parameter of a second apparatus is analyzed for processing the substrate, thereby yielding at least one second throughput rate of the second apparatus. The first throughput rate and the second throughput rate are compared, thereby yielding at least one comparison result for processing the substrate.

Abstract: A circuit board system for connecting with at least an expansion card that includes a Programmable Logic Device (PLD) electrically coupled to the expansion slot. The PLD is configured to detect whether the expansion card is compatible with the circuit board system. If the PLD detects that the expansion card is not compatible with the circuit board system, the logic controller cuts off the connection between the main power supply and the expansion slot.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and kit, including parts thereof, for the prognosis of breast cancer. In particular, the method involves identifying a gene expression pattern, or molecular signature, that indicates the likelihood of survival of a patient with breast cancer, and/or likelihood of recurrence of the disease in a patient being treated, or having been treated, for breast cancer, and the likelihood of a patient having a metastatic form of cancer. Six molecular signatures, comprising twelve groups/sets of molecular markers have been identified, which have relevance in determining the prognosis of a given breast cancer. Each molecular signature comprises a plurality of genetic markers whose expression, either high or low in respect of normal tissue, is indicative of a given outcome, such as survival or recurrence.

Each coupler includes a root part and first, second and third tube parts that extend in different directions from the root part. The root part is formed with a cap-receiving recess that is in spatial communication with the first tube part. Each top frame rod includes a rod body that has opposite first and second rod ends, and an anchor cap that is mounted on the first rod end of the rod body. Each top frame rod is extended removably through the first tube part of one of the couplers such that the anchor cap thereof is disposed removably in the cap-receiving recess, and such that the second rod end of the rod body is extendible removably into the second tube part of another one of the couplers.

Abstract: A bottom frame assembly for a baby crib includes pairs of first and second bottom frame rods, and a hub unit that includes stationary and rotary seats. The stationary seat is connected to the first bottom frame rods at diametrically opposite positions of the stationary seat. The rotary seat is mounted rotatably on the stationary seat, and is connected to the second bottom frame rods at diametrically opposite positions of the rotary seat. By adjusting the angular orientation of the rotary seat relative to the stationary seat, the angles formed between adjacent ones of the first and second bottom frame rods can be varied so that the bottom frame assembly can suit the specified length-to-width ratio of the baby crib.
