Abstract: A phase shift mask may include boundaries between phase shift regions with continuous sloped phase edges. The continuous sloped phase edges may be produced by introducing a predetermined degree of defocus into a beam used during production of the mask to image the pattern on the mask. Such a phase shift mask may be “trimless”, i.e., not require a corresponding binary “trim” mask for a second exposure to remove phase conflicts after exposure with the phase shift mask.

Abstract: An LED chip with enhanced effective reflection angles is revealed, primarily comprising an epitaxial substrate, a first reflection mirror on the epitaxial substrate, a second reflection mirror, a light-emitting mechanism, and a first electrode. The first reflection mirror consists of a plurality of first DBRs with a first paired thickness. The second reflection mirror is formed on the first reflection mirror and consists of a plurality of second DBRs with a second paired thickness. Accordingly, two different ranges of effective reflection angles is provided to increase the effective reflection angles to overcome issues of lower production yield during the conventional thermally-bonding processes with reflection metal plates.

Abstract: A method for operating a one-time programmable read-only memory (OTP-ROM) is provided. The OTP-ROM comprises a first gate and a second gate respectively disposed on a gate dielectric layer between a first doped region and a second doped region on a substrate, wherein the first gate is adjacent to the first doped region and coupled to the first doped region, the second gate is adjacent to the second doped region, the first gate is electrically coupled grounded, and the OTP-ROM is programmed through a breakdown effect. The method comprises a step of programming the OTP-ROM under the conditions that a voltage of the second doped region is higher than a voltage of the first doped region, the voltage of the second gate is higher than a threshold voltage to pass the voltage of the second doped region, and the first doped region and the substrate are at a reference voltage.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying database partitioning in a multi-tenancy scenario is disclosed, the method includes providing, in each database table of a partitioned database system storing tenant data, a partition key field for storing a respective partition key for each tenant within a plurality of tenants. The respective partition key for each tenant is designated for each tenant according to a partition designated for the each respective tenant and the corresponding relationships between partitions and partition keys in the database partitioning mechanism of the partitioned database system. The respective partition key is used by the partitioned database system to perform database partitioning operations on the data of each respective tenant.

Abstract: A method for purifying exhaust of waste gas using atomized fluid droplets combined with turbulent flow, including the following steps: a). atomizing the absorption or reacting fluids to microsized droplets; b). enabling waste gas to pass through the aforementioned absorption or reacting fluids and creating a turbulent flow to thoroughly react the waste gas with the droplets; c). reacting of harmful substances in the waste gas with droplets of the absorption or reacting fluids; d). implementing demisting treatment of the waste gas flow; e). discharging the treated waste gas. The aforementioned steps of the present invention enable the purification of waste gas without the need for packing, and achieve high removal efficiency and low energy consumption.

Abstract: A scleral buckling band and a method for making the same are described. The scleral buckling band is used for an ophthalmic operation, which is biocompatible and has a slender cylindrical structure formed by a decomposable and absorbable material. When being implanted into human body, the scleral buckling band is degraded and absorbed by the human body, without causing any immune response. After the patient is recovered, the scleral buckling band does not need to be taken out through another operation. Meanwhile, the decomposition rate of the scleral buckling band within the human body can be controlled through different preparation manners, so as to cater to different recovery speeds of different patients. Furthermore, the scleral buckling band contains different medicine, and after being implanted into human body and being decomposed, the scleral buckling band releases different specific medicine as time elapsed.

Abstract: This invention provides an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display device, in which a plurality of electro-luminescent units is sandwiched between a light reflective layer with an aperture array and a micro-lens array. A light absorbing layer is adjacent to a surface of the light reflective layer opposite to the electro-luminescent units. The ambient light entering the display can be focused to the apertures and directly projected unto the light absorbing layer to eliminate the ambient light. The contrast of the organic light-emitting diode display device is improved.

Abstract: One face of a substrate of a diffuser with a light condensing function is disposed with a plurality of prism rods; at least one inclined face of parts of prism rods is disposed with a rough diffusion face; the diffusion face may be positioned on any position of the inclined face of the prism rod; the diffusion face is disposed with a plurality of irregularly arranged raised and indented stripes perpendicular, not perpendicular or parallel to a crest line of the prism rod; chromatic dispersion can be reduced and stripes of the prism rods can be atomized effectively by utilizing the diffusion face to eliminate the occurrence of moiré fringes and elevate the yield factor.

Abstract: A semiconductor package and a substrate structure thereof are provided. A solder mask layer applied on the substrate structure is formed with outwardly extended openings corresponding to corner portions of a chip mounting area of the substrate structure. When a flip-chip semiconductor chip is mounted on the chip mounting area and an underfilling process is performed, an underfill material can fill a gap between the flip-chip semiconductor chip and the substrate structure, and effectively fill the outwardly extended openings of the solder mask layer corresponding to the corner portions of the chip mounting area so as to provide sufficient protection for corners of the flip-chip semiconductor chip and prevent delamination at the corners of the flip-chip semiconductor chip during a subsequent thermal cycle.

The method receives an email to be sent from a sender computer that is connected to an application server, sends a search instruction to email communication servers for obtaining a total number of emails to be sent in each of the email communication servers. The method further selects an email communication server which has the least total number of the emails, sends the obtained email to be sent to the selected email communication server, and receives a result generated by the selected email communication server.

Abstract: A full digital soft-start circuit adapted for a power supply system is provided. The full digital soft-start circuit includes a ring oscillator, a pulse generator, a counter, and a multiplexer. The ring oscillator generates a plurality of clock signals which are different in phase, while equivalent in duty cycle and frequency. The pulse generator generates a plurality of pulse signals with different duty cycles. The counter generates a multi-bit counting signal. The multiplexer determines whether to transmit the pulse signals generated by the pulse generator so as to generate an output pulse which becomes stable as time going on.
