    Abstract: A phase shift mask may include boundaries between phase shift regions with continuous sloped phase edges. The continuous sloped phase edges may be produced by introducing a predetermined degree of defocus into a beam used during production of the mask to image the pattern on the mask. Such a phase shift mask may be “trimless”, i.e., not require a corresponding binary “trim” mask for a second exposure to remove phase conflicts after exposure with the phase shift mask.

    Abstract: A hinge structure includes a pivot shaft, a bracket, a fastening member, and at least one external tooth washer located between the bracket and the fastening member. The bracket and the external tooth washer are sequentially mounted on the pivot shaft and the fastening member is screwed to a tightening section at an end of the pivot shaft. The pivot shaft and a mounting arm of the bracket are respectively connected to a mainframe and a screen of a clam-type electronic apparatus, such as a notebook computer. The external teeth of the external tooth washer are firmly and elastically compressed between the bracket and the fastening member, preventing the fastening member from turning along with the screen when the latter is pivotally turned relative to the mainframe, or separating from the pivot shaft after the screen has been pivotally turned many times.

    Abstract: A hinge for a notebook computer includes a hinge member and a fastener assembly. The hinge member has a seat with a lateral portion and an upright portion. A hole is defined through the upright portion, and two recesses are defined at an exterior side of the upright portion. A pintle extends through the hole. A nut is threadingly mounted at a first end of the pintle. The fastener assembly has a positioning member provided outside the pintle and between the upright portion and the nut. The positioning member has an aperture corresponding to the pintle. Two protrusions are formed at a surface facing the upright portion and engaged in the recesses in a closed status of the notebook computer. A resilient member is provided outside the pintle and between the positioning member and the nut. Whereby, the hinge has a simplified structure and a low manufacturing cost.

    Abstract: An architecture of multilayered DRM protection structure for multimedia service and the method of forming the same are provided. The architecture comprises a multilayered DRM encryption structure and a DRM decryption structure. The inputted multimedia service is decomposed and encrypted into an encrypted multimedia service stream through a multimedia service decomposer and a multimedia DRM organizer. The encrypted stream is decrypted by a DRM composer from top layer to bottom layer. A full or partial multimedia service is then presented. For a multimedia service application, this enhances the DRM protection by increasing the complexity of multimedia encryption for a multimedia service application. It also provides the variety for the multimedia service application via different compositions of multimedia objects. The DRM protection structure is embedded into each layer of multimedia services and objects and can be set up different levels of DRM protection.

The boundary region may allow for a less precise lithography tool to be used in a second lithography step.
