    Abstract: A disc grabbing device including a support body, a drive shaft, multiple first planetary gears, a center gear, multiple second planetary gears and a driver is provided. The support body includes a plate and a center column. When the disc grabbing device grabs the discs, the center column is located in the center holes of the discs. The drive shaft is rotatably disposed on the plate. The first planetary gears are respectively engaged with the drive shaft and connected to multiple first levers for driving the first levers to rotate. The second planetary gears are respectively engaged with the center gear and connected to multiple second levers for driving the second levers to rotate. The driver concurrently drives the drive shaft and the center gear to rotate the first planetary gears and the second planetary gears synchronically and make the first levers and the second levers rotate synchronically.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for color index coding of a block of video data using index prediction based on reconstructed neighboring pixels are disclosed. In one embodiment, color index encoding or decoding is applied to the current pixel indices by deriving index prediction from neighboring pixel indices of the reconstructed neighboring pixels. The reconstructed neighboring pixel values are first transformed into the neighboring pixel indices according to a quantization table to map between major color indices and major color values of the current block. The quantization table can be based on a major color table for the current block or can also be derived at a decoder side. The decoding process may reconstruct the current pixels by converting decoded current pixel indices to reconstructed current pixel values according to the quantization table or by directly copying the reconstructed neighboring pixel values indicated by decoded current pixel indices.

    Abstract: A diagnostic ultrasound system has a 2D array transducer which is operated with 1×N patches, patches which are only a single element wide. The “N” length of the patches extends in the elevation direction of a scanned 2D image plane, with the single element width extending in the lateral (azimuth) direction. Focusing is done along each patch in the elevation direction by a microbeamformer, and focusing in the lateral (azimuth) direction is done by the system beamformer. The minimal width of each patch in the azimuth direction enables the production of images highly resolved in the azimuthal plane of a 2D image, including the reception of highly resolved multilines for high frame rate imaging.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating a fin structure with tensile stress includes providing a structure divided into an N-type transistor region and a P-type transistor region. Next, two first trenches and two second trenches are formed in the substrate. The first trenches define a fin structure. The second trenches segment the first trenches and the fin. Later, a flowable chemical vapor deposition is performed to form a silicon oxide layer filling the first trenches and the second trenches. Then, a patterned mask is formed only within the N-type transistor region. The patterned mask only covers the silicon oxide layer in the second trenches. Subsequently, part of the silicon oxide layer is removed to make the exposed silicon oxide layer lower than the top surface of the fin structure by taking the patterned mask as a mask. Finally, the patterned mask is removed.

Information associated with the last-run mode syntax element is used for reconstructing palette index map.
