  • Patent number: 10187191
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for sounding reference signal (SRS) management in carrier aggregation (CA) are described. A user equipment (UE) may be scheduled for overlapping (e.g., concurrent) transmissions of SRS and uplink control or data on different cells of a CA configuration. In some cases, the SRS transmission may be dropped (e.g., the UE may refrain from transmitting a scheduled SRS). While in some cases, the UE may transmit both SRS and another uplink message in overlapping time intervals on different cells (e.g., SRS may be transmitted concurrently with another uplink message). A determination of whether to transmit or drop SRS may be based on whether the different cells have different cyclic prefix (CP) lengths or on whether the SRS is scheduled to be transmitted in a special subframe of a time division duplexing (TDD) configuration, for example.

  • Patent number: 10183421
Abstract: A method of molding a composite structure having continuous fibers contained therein is disclosed. The method including the steps of compressing a first composite material in a mold; forming a cavity in the first composite material; placing a second composite material having continuous fibers contained therein in the cavity formed in the first composite material to minimize movement and distortion of the continuous fibers; compressing the first composite material such that the compression of the first composite material causes the first composite material to flow to edges of the second composite material; and allowing the first composite material to bond to the second composite material under molding temperature and pressure to form the composite structure.

  • Patent number: 10004473
Abstract: A heart rate detection method for calculating heart rate using heart sound from auscultation positions identified by a statistical approach utilizes a down-sampling and filtering process to acquire samples of heart sound from multiple auscultation positions of multiple testees and calculate heart rate with the samples, records time for calculating heart rate from each auscultation position of each testee and record the same from electrocardiogram, calculates a mean error and a standard deviation of the time to identify the auscultation positions allowing faster speed in heart rate detection, and applies a Bland-Altman difference plot and both a coefficient of determination and a Pearson's correlation coefficient to determine the degree of consistency and correlation of the heart rate measured from the multiple auscultation positions to identify the auscultation positions allowing generation of precise heart rate.

  • Patent number: 9898880
Abstract: A wearable device (“WD”) stores a token after its wearer completes a successful strong authentication on a primary protected device (“primary PD”). Other protected devices (“secondary PDs”) recognize the stored token as representing a strong authentication and grant the user access while the user continues to wear the WD within a “digital leash-length” proximity. The WD constantly monitors whether the user continues to wear the device. Upon sensing that the user has removed the WD, the WD deletes, disables, or invalidates the token, The user must then repeat the strong authentication to gain further access to the protected devices.

  • Patent number: 9751684
Abstract: A bubble liquid bottle includes a bottle body, a pad covering a mouth of the bottle body, a straw connected to a communication opening of the pad and inserted into the bottle body, and a head. The head is disposed on the mouth and includes a main body having outlet, inlet, and communication channels, a handle, and a pressure-relief device disposed in the communication channel and including a stopper, an elastic member for driving the stopper to block communication between the outlet channel and the communication opening, and a ring located above the outlet channel and sleeving the stopper. The handle is pivoted to the main body and inserted into the stopper for moving the stopper upward. When an internal pressure of the bottle body is greater than a predetermined value, the stopper is moved upward by the internal pressure to make the outlet channel communicated with the communication opening.
