    Abstract: An electric rotary starter for an engine of a radio control model includes a motor mounted therein. A drive shaft is electrified and longitudinally connected to the motor and rotated by the motor. A conduct tube is electrified and movably sleeved on the drive shaft, wherein the conduct tube is insulated from the drive shaft. When starting the engine, the drive shaft is longitudinally inserted into the engine for providing torsion. Simultaneously, the conduct tube is longitudinally moved relative to the drive shaft to make the front end of the conduct tube contract with the engine. The conduct tube and the drive shaft from a circuit and the power from the electric rotary starter is transmitted to the spark plug in the engine to make the spark plug sparkle for starting engine.

    Abstract: A radioactive material for inhibiting cancer and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. The radioactive material for inhibiting cancer is M-SOCTA-Z and M is a radioactive nuclide such as 188Re or 99mT while Z is protein or peptides having amino acid with NH or NH2 group. The preparation method of the radioactive material for inhibiting cancer includes steps of: reacting SOCTA with protein or peptide. Ester (—COOR) in SOCTA reacts with amines (—NH, —NH2) in protein or peptide to form peptide bond. Thus SOCTA-protein or SOCTA-peptide complex is produced. Then these SOCTA-protein complex reacts with radioactive nuclide M so as to generate M-SOCTA-protein or M-SOCTA-peptide. In an embodiment of the present invention, monoclonal antibody Herceptin is applied to bind with SOCTA and in combination with radiation-based therapy, effects of cancer treatment (such as breast cancer) are enhanced.

    Abstract: A stacked structure of integrated circuits having spacer elements includes a substrate, a spacer element, a lower-layer integrated circuit, an upper-layer integrated circuit, and a molding layer. The substrate includes an upper surface on which the spacer element and the lower-layer integrated circuit are arrayed with each other. The lower-layer integrated circuit includes a solder-pad region and a non-solder-pad region adjacent to the spacer element. The upper-layer integrated circuit is disposed on the spacer element, and covers partly over the non-solder-pad region of the lower-layer integrated circuit. Therefore, the overall height of the stacked structure of integrated circuits can be lowered, making the packaging process simplified, the manufacturing process more stable, and the yield rate of production will be raised.

    Abstract: Molecular adsorption to the microfluidic device surfaces can be passively and actively mitigated by mixing certain hydrophilic polymers (organic polymers with repeating hydrophilic groups—the preferred polymers being amphipathic surfactants—with the sample liquid during or prior to relevant microfluidic operations. Nonionic surfactants such as polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate and polyoxyethylene octyl phenyl ether are especially effective. High molecular weight polyethylene polymers are also effective. The hydrophilic polymers appear to prevent binding of the fouling molecules to the microfluidic by occupying the surface sites in place of the fouling molecules or by interacting with the fouling molecules to prevent binding of the fouling molecules the surface. When surface adsorption is thus mitigated, microfluidic devices can readily handle samples containing biomolecules to enable active sample concentration, filtering, washing, transport, mixing and other sample handling operations.

    Abstract: An apparatus for improving vehicle efficiency mainly includes a vehicle engine and an oxygen producing device. The oxygen producing device is located on an intake passage between an air filter and an intake manifold to increase oxygen content in the air. When the air enters the air intake passage and passes through the air filter, the air and pure oxygen are drawn into the engine through the intake manifold. Hence combustion in the engine is proceeded more efficiently due to increase of oxygen content. And the engine has a higher transformation effect to boost horsepower. A drive device is laterally mounted to the engine for driving the input axle when starting the engine. The driving device includes a first casing and a second casing abutting each other and respectively made of insulating material. At least one drive element is rotatably mounted in the driving device for driving the input axle. A polygonal hole is longitudinally defined in the at least one drive element and adapted to be connected to an extra power source. A conducting ring is sleeved on the at least one drive element and a wire is electrically connected to the conducting ring and a spark plug that is mounted in the engine such that the spark plug sparkles and the input axle provides torsion at the same time for starting the engine.

    Abstract: A network communication device includes a transceiver module, an address translation module, a control buffer module, an IP routing module, and a processor. The transceiver module is configured for forwarding packets. The address translation module determines if addresses of the forwarded packets need to be translated and translates the addresses of the forwarded packets when needed. Next, the address translation module marks the packets of translated addresses with flags and records the flags in the control buffer module. The IP routing module sends the forwarded packets from the address translation module to the address translation module.
