  • Publication number: 20050158885
Abstract: A method and system for preventing wafer breakage during wet processing is desscribed. A wet processing tank is provided wherein a wafer is to be placed within the wet processing tank. A sensor is provided within the wet processing tank wherein the sensor continuously counts bubbles formed within the wet processing tank in a time interval. The sensor is queried wherein if a bubble count within the time interval exceeds a trigger point, then an alarm is given so that a process lot will not be entered into the wet processing tank.

  • Publication number: 20050082266
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and apparatus for deflashing integrated circuit (IC) packages by laser irradiation. The method and apparatus include two lasers scanning flash area for performing deflashing operation. CO2 laser is used to remove top layer of flash and YAG laser is used to remove the thin layer of flash remained after CO2 laser deflashing. • Patent number: 6384705
Abstract: A miniaturized common mode EMI filter with a greatly simplified design so that it can be manufactured very economically. The common mode filter includes: (a) a magnetic main body; (b) a pair of substantially identical electrically conductive planar coils embedded in the magnetic main body; and (c) an insulative planar coil sandwiched between the pair of electrically conductive planar coils, wherein the insulative planar coil has a pattern that is substantially identical to and inclusive of the pattern of the electrically conductive planar coils so as to insulate the pair of electrically conductive planar coil from each other. The common mode filter retains low normal mode impedance and high common mode impedance, with a substantially reduced physical size, so that it can cost-effectively maintain a high fidelity of the normal mode waveform of signals for electronic devices that utilize differential transmission technology and keep the common mode EMI noise to a minimum.

  • Patent number: 6008436
Abstract: Nematode-resistant transgenic plants are disclosed. The plants comprise plant cells containing a DNA construct comprising a transcription cassette, which construct comprises, in the 5' to 3' direction, a promoter operable in the plant cells, and a DNA comprising at least a portion of a DNA sequence encoding a nematode-inducible transmembrane pore protein in either the sense or antisense orientation. Intermediates for producing the same along with methods of making and using the same are also disclosed. In an alternate embodiment of the invention, the sense or antisense DNA is replaced with a DNA encoding an enzymatic RNA molecule directed against the mRNA transcript of a DNA sequence encoding a nematode-inducible transmembrane pore protein.
