A display includes a display panel, a voltage generator, and a driver. The display panel also includes at least one data line. The voltage generator outputs a pre-driving voltage to the data line of the display. The driver outputs a data driving voltage to the data line according to an image signal, in which the data line receives the pre-driving voltage and the data driving voltage orderly during the horizontal synchronizing period.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel utilizes a redundancy line as a repair line. The liquid crystal display panel has a substrate having data lines, and data drivers, which have plurality of data channels that have a plurality of corresponding data lines electrically connected to the data channels respectively. At least one data channel and corresponding data line are used as a repair line to perform data transmission. A memory stores information of the broken data line and the repair line. A timing controller coupled between the data drivers and the memory, utilizes the repair line instead of the broken data line to deliver an image data to the data channel and its corresponding data line to drive the liquid crystal display panel according to the information of the broken data line and the information of the repair line when the broken data line needs repair.

The apparatus includes a signal driver that has a driver output terminal electrically connected to the first signal line portion, and a first repair buffer having an input terminal and an output terminal. A repair line is electrically connected to the output terminal of the first repair buffer. The input terminal of the first repair buffer is initially electrically isolated from the defective signal line. To repair the defective signal line, the input terminal of the first repair buffer is electrically connected to the defective signal line to enable a signal from the signal driver to travel through the first repair buffer over the repair line to the second signal line portion of the defective signal line.

The display chip retrieves overdrive display data from the overdrive look-up table according to the display data of the previous frame obtained from the frame buffer and the display data of the present frame and transmits the overdrive display data to the display device so that an image is formed on the display panel.

    Abstract: An address memory structure used in an Ethernet switch, comprising an index memory and an address table memory is disclosed. The index memory is used for storing the vendor code section and the address table memory is used for storing the serial code section. The vendor code index data connects the index memory data to the address table memory data. When comparing the node addresses, the serial code section in the address table memory is compared first. If there is a consistent entry, the corresponding vendor code section is compared through the vendor code index data. When adding a new node address, the corresponding vendor code index data is attained, and the vendor code index data and the serial code of the node address are then written into the address table memory.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a safety structure provided on an elevator car for the passengers to escape from the elevator car in case of an emergency that causes the elevator car to stop halfway between two floors. Besides, the safety structure can prevent maintenance technicians or objects from falling down through open entrance door to the base ground of the elevator tunnel when the elevator car is lifted halfway between two floors. The safety structure comprises a plurality of sidepieces secured to the bottom of the car and a series of rungs set between the sidepieces. In another embodiment, each of the plurality of sidepieces comprises a first segment and a second segment retractable into the first segment. In still another embodiment, each of the plurality of sidepieces comprises a chain of segments each linked to with a pivot such that the safety structure is collapsible.
