    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body having a base and a tongue protruding from the base, a metal casing surrounding the insulating body, multiple terminals grouped into upper and lower rows and fixedly at the insulating body, a shielding sheet disposed at the insulating body and located between the upper and lower rows of terminals, and a positioning member. A positioning slot is disposed at the base. A first buckling portion is disposed inside the positioning slot. Each terminal has a contact portion extending forward and exposed partially from the tongue, and a soldering portion extending backward out of the base. The shielding sheet has a reserved space corresponding to the positioning slot. The positioning member has multiple positioning holes for positioning the soldering portions, and a second buckling portion passing through the reserved space and fixed to the first buckling portion.

    Abstract: A method for measuring distance and areas by mobile devices combined with light beam projectors that combines a mobile device with a light beam projector which projects the light beams in the direction identical to the one of the image retrieved from a photodetector module of the mobile device, so as to project a first measuring point and a second measuring point and produce a first distance and a second distance, and then calculate the moving coordinates of the first and second measuring points with a first azimuth data and a second azimuth date detected by an azimuth sensor of the mobile device. Thus the method would be able to calculate the coordinate distance between the first and second measuring points, even the area surrounded by the coordinate distance, the first distance, and the second distance.

An upper and a lower grounding sheets are laminated to the upper and lower surfaces of the tongue respectively, and are assembled and connected to each other. A shielding case covers the periphery of the insulating body, and the upper and lower grounding sheets. The shielding case, the insulating body, and the upper and lower grounding sheets together form an insertion space for the mating connector to be inserted therein.
