The implantation method can include forming an incision in the left chest to expose the ventricle; advancing a guide wire kept away from chordae tendineaes through the atrium into the ventricle; advancing a guide wire catcher into the ventricle from the incision to pull out the distal end of the guide wire from the ventricle; and advancing the artificial heart valve into the ventricle from the distal end of the guide wire with a valve deliverer, and placing the artificial heart valve at a primary valve between the ventricle and the atrium along the guide wire. The artificial heart valve may avoid the chordae tendineaes in the heart system through the guide wire track during implantation.
